I'm keeping an eye on their TomicaHyper/Plarail stuff because they are closer to mainline Transformers in terms of price. Plus they have been making use of the same 5mm pegs and ports so there's a lot of cross-compatibility with the mainline.

This S.R.P set is my favorite of the year.

Between the those series and Diaclone, it's like TakaraTomy is a 3p Transformer manufacturer themselves...

I decided to pull the trigger and get TR Soundwave. Friend that works at Walmart shared that leaders were mispriced as a Voyager for some reason. That said even at full cost I doubt I be keen blowing 70+ on the legends version of this mold so I doubt there was another choice. Also growing up with the G1 toy Im becoming sentimental of the yellow visor.

Possibility is a collector returning them. Walmart has stupid return politics. Basicly if they can scan that bar code and you have the retrun paper. Sometimes not even that. Last year I saw wave 1 CWs with the online exclusives (Breakneck and QuickSlinger) on the peg. Even the ring up info was generic for the exclusives. My CHUG shelf Bumblebee is the old classics one. I'm a little disappointed that the TR used a similar sports vehicle alt-mode instead of a VW beetle lookalike, might have swapped it out if it did. Other than that I have too many of the movie/prime/rid bees I'm still trying to sell off.

I've settle on WFC Prime because I prefer him as a deluxe (makes the combiners look larger).

I've actually taken a liking to the character in RID now that his voicebox is fixed and he's a young emerging leader similar to Animated OP. Will Friedle voicing him also reminds me of Terry from Batman Beyond. However, I'm hesitant to buy anymore toys of him because he's quite similar to Movie Bee in design.
It's a shame he has to be associated with Movie Bee.

after a lot of plastic scraping and almost cutting myself with a razor I ended up not being able to get Inferno's left arm to stay perfectly close.

shaving a little bit of plastic off the wrist part helped a little bit but it seems as though the the body of his arms is just bent slightly. Which is pretty annoying because considering his right arm closes absolutely flush at the seam, the left arm was obviously meant to do the same.

I wonder if other people have this issue on inferno or if mine just has a mis-inserted pin that bent the plastic slightly. It's happened before

From what I remember, there's a reenactment of the films that ends in Optimus and some autobots getting thrown out into space on Hot Rod's suggestion.

They meet Unicron, but this Unicron is like only one of the good-natured ones in the multiverse.

He upgrades Optimus into Nova Prime and gives him and the autobots a spiritual awakening sort of deal with their only quest being end the war.

In the end, this is like the one continuity where the war ends thanks to peaceful resolution between sides with no immediate sign of it going wrong.

So i picked up Astrotrain yesterday, really liking how imposing he is in robot mode.
