Have you guys ever seen any of the pieces done by Tomoo Yamaji? He does stuff that transforms, but usually with an abstract look.
I know more obscure stuff doesn't get much attention here, but I thought some of you guys might find it cool.
Some of this stuff looks like it would be right at home in an art museum.
He's done some Transformer designs as well, interestingly enough.

That looks amazing, like that YouTube video I can't remember. What the fuck is that? Can I buy it with money?

Yes you can! http://www.tomooyamaji.com/pages/portfolio/portfolio.html
And here's a YouTube video of it in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JNLA6us0rIo

>3D printed
Bad comedy

>have to e-mail them to get a price
I'm guessing the prices are too obscene to put on the site.
>>6079174
Well, the newer ones have price listings. The one in the OP is $190 for example. Not sure if you can even get the earlier stuff now.

Is it really 3D printed?
What a fucking joke.
>>6079445
yes

it also looks like utter shit, you would need to sand it and paint it

I can't find anywhere that says how much he was selling those dragons for.
>3D printed on order
>sold out

It seems like some of the stuff was done in house, and others are done through shapeways.

Looks similar to Pheyos Valkyrie from Macross Digital Mission VF-X for Playstation.

I actually just got a message back from him; he said he only produced 3 of those dragons and all of them have already left his possession. I had no idea they were that limited.
I also mentioned being a Studio HalfEye fan, and he said he was influenced by and respects their work. Pretty cool!
