Go on fun adventures and take pictures of the trip
>>
>>6053650
I set up small dioramas on my desk and switch them up from time to time
>>
>>6053650
I use lego to basically storyboard out a personal writing project. It allows me to better understand the scenario. Often I "play" out the events to see which situation would work best.
>>
I use to play with my figures far more than I do now and that's mostly because the after market prices have made me scared in case I damage anything.

Honestly, I still play actively with my Gunpla stuff, but anything from the rest of my collection is strictly for setting up nice dioramas
>>
I make them fight a little bit while I figure out new poses for display. I make no excuses for my autism, fuck it.
>>
>>6053650
Oh yeah I totally do.
Like this guy said >>6053765 not even going to try to cover it. It's fun, so why not right?
>>
Mostly I just set them up for photos.
But sometimes they'll have conversations or fight or whatever. It helps give me ideas for the photo set ups, but also it's fun.
>>
Less than i would like, less than I used to

When I lived on my own...and had more space and free time, I would set up sprawling displays that took up like a third of my apartment. It was some good times, even if they were only temporary. Nowadays I have neither the time, space or energy to do something like that, as now all I can do is fiddle with a few desktop figures every now and then. Hopefully one day soon I'll be able to go full on warzone again.
>>
>>6053695
That's actually quite genius.

I mess around with my stuff all the time. Taking pics is a lot of fun.
>>
>>6057721
Not gonna lie, that's pretty neat.
>>
>>6053689
This is the only sensible answer.
>>
I seem to switch how much attention and play I give to my toys and it varies from month to month and even year to year

>play
>pose
>repose
>play with when idle, sitting at desk
>customize, make dioramas
>kitbash
>pick up and play like I used to, making sounds with my mouth and stuff when alone
>leave for months on the shelf collecting dust, no desire to even touch them

Right now its currently the last one.
>>
>>6053650
I don't play with them, per se, but because I pose the majority of them amongst accessories such as furniture and the like, I occasionally envision them interacting with one another.
>>
>>6061184
I fucking love your pictures anon
>>
>>6061140
I appreciate it. It helps writing a lot more than you'd think.

I play with my toys a lot. I am a big fan of building dioramas and the various adventures I can get up to with them.

I have a nice collection of Lego and Toy soldiers that I take out and play with at least once a week.

This is a Blue Coat supply depot defended by a gun ship under attack by two smaller pirate vessels.

I've accrued enough figures to engage in Hunger Games-esque misadventures with them.

I divide them into groups and set them up in my room, then scatter all weapons and other assorted objects that could be of use in it as well. When I have free time, I act out an episode, of sorts, in which the groups of characters work with one another to kill all the other groups. Groups aren't set in stone and characters retain their canon personalities, so betrayals are inevitable. The last stable team to survive is considered the winner.
>>
I have movie nights and tea parties with plushes and dolls. I rearrange clothing on dolls at least once a week. I used figma Link to make a cosplay and now he's displayed, but I change his pose regularly.

I think I have about 50 or so. I picked up four bags of the Zerglings and Space Marines when Blizzard put them on clearance for like 5 bucks a little while ago.

I know the guy who runs this site. He is super chill and has a wide range of cheap but good quality figures.

Whoops, this was meant to be a reply to another thread.

>>6071070
Thanks. The pirate and knight themes are my favorite outside of Star Wars.
>>
>>6071070
Thats pretty cool, so you act out most the dialogue and stuff in your head and the movments and fights are like simple and stuff and then ocassionaly pose them for major things like firing weapons at each other?

Thats what I used to do, fun shit
>>
I like to day dream about some of mine going on Toy Story-esque adventures, but I don't really play with them besides messing with posing every once in a while.
>>
>>6071879
>so you act out most the dialogue and stuff in your head and the movments and fights are like simple and stuff and then ocassionaly pose them for major things like firing weapons at each other?
Yup, spot on.

I'd also like to correct myself, as describing them as Hunger Games-esque is a little misleading; I've never thought of them as being egged on by outside forces, but rather effectively just fighting for control and using what they come across to achieve it.
>>
>>6072148
Nice, I need to do stuff like that more often, I've all but lost my sense of play
>>
Used to make huge battles with my legos when I was younger, would even make up storylines for them in my head. Haven't played with them in years but I always get the urge to do it. I'm already a neet that lives with his mother so maybe I should just fully embrace the autism and bust them out again.
>>
I play with my toys a lot. A major factor when I buy something is how well they pose and just generally how well they can be played with. I make dioramas and set things up but they usually don't last long because I reincorporate them into something else.

I have my Lego sets set up on the various shelves around my room with my books. I take them apart and put em back together when my depression is bad because it usually helps calm me down and take my mind off stuff with a feeling of accomplishment at the end. Heaven forbid I knock a couple tiny pieces onto the floor where I can't find em though, then it's "i hate my fucking life wanna die" city until i realize the piece is right there. Long-term major depression sucks ass
>>
>>6075304

I get that feel dude. I lost a pocky from a figma set and it's tearing me apart.

1) I take silly pictures, and sometimes turn them into memes.
2) I fidget with them at my desk. Transformers are great for that.
3) I use them in RPG or wargames. Right now I am working on a 1:72 scale Transformers wargame.

I buy few and far in between now, but I mostly stick to Transformers or the Star Wars Lego UC sets. But whenever I buy a toy (even as a kid), I never actually played with my toys, but just posed them and liked displaying them. The Transformers allowed more interaction by displaying them in both modes.

I sure hope you guys dont have autism and have an action figure in each hand while repeatedly hitting them while making sounds.... Do you think many people on this board has legit high functioning autism?
>>
>>6078570
>Do you think many people on this board has legit high functioning autism?
I do, but I certainly don't do what you've described.

High functioning indicates that I'm a normie at first sight and that you likely wouldn't consider me a sperg unless you had to deal with me regularly.
>>
>>6064556

I try. A lot turn out crap, but I work with what I got.
>>
>>6078570
All of the evil shark characters in my collection (Armaggon, Sharknado, Jawblade, Friendzy, etc) have teamed up to flood the entire earth so that can freely sail around it and rule the world. it all starts with one of the bad guys trying to melt all the polar ice caps before the face off a bunch of heroes. then pic related shows up and blasts away anyone trying to approach it. after the intermission, ive dug out and assembled all my vehicles and mechs to fight the thing.
>>
This thread inspires me to actually play more with my toys instead of just posing them randomly a few times a week, but how do I even start, I feel like I lost something and dont know how to regain it

More like the lewd threads die off because theres not too many lewd toys. That, and there aren't too many of them made so it's usually far and few between. I wish Revoltech would spit out another QB line, or do reprints of the rarer ones. And do a fucking Senran Kagura line with full cast off like the QB stuff.
