Welcome to capitalism. You sell things lower to get attention, loyal fans and accolades then you raise the price until you hit the breaking point of what people consider acceptable to hone in that "sweet spot" of maximum profit margins. If toy collectors actually had balls they'd push back and force the prices lower but that will never happen. There will always be enough desperate morons who are poor with finances buying this stuff up even if the prices have to double to make up for the lack of total sold units.

Of course some companies are just stubborn as fuck. They will blame the fans for everything and just quit making toys from certain IP's rather than admit they made a pricing mistake. Then sometimes there is just no room to move the price any lower because it's way too niche, too expensive of a license or various manufacturing cost related factors.

It's presented in chronological order, yeah. You can really start anywhere with Dredd tho, it's all one continuity, but each adventure stands on its own well enough.

If you want everything just get the Complete Case Files and start at the beginning.

Is this worth it?

I preordered the 3A 1/12 Dredd and Lawmaster but doesn't have enough accessories.

Yeah, the Mezco Dredd is fantastic.

My favourite out of the two versions I own is easily the black-and-white NYCC variant, but that's getting expensive.
