>Boss Fight Studio will be producing highly-articulated 4"+ scale, collectible toys of Bucky O'Hare, his S.P.A.C.E. allies and Toad enemies!
>Created by Larry Hama and Michael Golden, Bucky O'Hare tells the story of a brave band of mammal freedom fighters combating the all-conquering Toad Empire!
>>
I'm really intrigued as to how these will look and if they can make those unreleased characters from the original toyline.
>>
>>6004432
Great, as if I didn't have the theme song in my head enough already
>>
>>6004432
As someone who owns the comic, had most of the figures, played the video game, and rented the VHS all the time as a kid, I'm actually a little hype for this.
>>
>>6004432
I'm eager for this to regain popularity so we can
get a porn parody titled

Fucky O'Bare & The Choad Menace.
In another dimension, another time and space, a parallel universe is falling on its face.

From out of the chaos, who else would it be, but the animal adventurers of S.P.A.C.E..

Bucky! Captain Bucky 'OHare. Mutants and aliens and toads beware.

If you're looking for adventure, well, this is it. With Jenny, Dead-Eye Binky and Willy DuWitt.

Bucky! Captain Bucky O'Hare.

Andy Phibian speaking: And now an update on Bucky O'Hare and the Toad Wars.

In the Battle for the Aniverse, you dont know what's next. You only know amphibians have made it complex.

If you check out your scanner and the evil that it bodes, there's only one course of action: Let's croak us some toads.

Bucky! Captain Bucky O'Hare. He goes where no ordinary rabbit would dare.

If the Righteous Idignation has suffered a hit
and the photon accelarator is broken a bit,
and you're losing and mind and you're having a fit,
get the funky fresh rabbit who can take care of it.

Bucky! Captain Bucky O'Hare. You said Bucky? I said Bucky. Bucky O'Hare! Let's croak us some toads!
>>
>>6004432
Lemme guess: we have to fund a kickstarter, and in order to possibly get them we need to pledge 20$ per figure, right?
>>
>>6005030
Shit, I'll do it. Loved the franchise and next to the X-Men arcade game, the Bucky one was my favorite
>>
>>6004993

KEEEEEEEEEEK
>>
This would be awesome, I had a Bucky as a kid, I'd love an updated version!
>>
Sounds like fun.
>>
>>6004432
So, who'll be in the first wave? I'd say Bucky, Deadeye, Jenny, and maybe a toadtrooper, with Toadborg, Willy, Deadeye, Bruiser and KOMPLEX to follow later.
>>
I'm not a big fan of the franchise but for the sake of people who are I hope they treat it better than the Four Horsemen have treated Power Lords.

I want army builders.
I will pay a lot of money for alien armies and because they are alien, they can fight against GI Joes and Transformers and still make sense!
>>
>>6007173
Power Lords was dead the moment they were revealed to be doing that Glyos shit.
>>
>>6007191
>they can be slaughtered by GI Joes and Transformers and still make sense!
ftfy
>>
>>6007191

I was just thinking how much I like the Toad Troopers' design. It'll be nice to see the characters with articulation since I imagine they'll have to have more than the minimal that we got from Hasbro.
>>
>>6007169
All I know is Al Negator better find his fucking way into the first wave or they're not getting ANY of my money

ok , it seems its ofitial, now the question will be how much articulations and quality will have this toys, sadly I dont think we will have a toy of her
>>
>>6007669
I'd more suspect that we will because Boss Fight Studios isn't a pack of complete idiots kowtowing to retail store demands and expectations, but is instead creating a new line wholly designed for collectors and fans.

Which of course means she'll be bought out the moment she goes up on the site and will never, ever be remade.

If the line of figures does well enough, you think they'll do this: ?

When they show off the packaging, will they go for something new, retro-ish, or just straight-up copy the old style ?
>>
>>6008020
>>6008023
For lack of something better to do, I'll spoonfeed.
Boss Fight Studios, the group behind this, is a group that sculpted GI Joe and similar product for Hasbro(And I believe they still contract out to them sometimes), and now they've been trying to fill the void left by a mass retail 3.75-4 inch articulated, detailed toyline with things like H.A.C.K.S. and their work with Marauder.

What you're hoping for is a roleplay toy/prop. They'll probably have a Bucky-sized one for the toy, but don't hold your breath waiting for one with working trigger, lights and sounds.

>>6008025
They will likely use a style similar to that mixed with the way they did their H.A.C.K.S. toyline packaging. Only reason they won't try to nostalgia-bait everyone with retro packaging is if there's something they would have to license for it.
>>
>>6008025
I never thought she had toys and merch

Jenny would have been part of the second wave of figures, but the line was cancelled before it could make it to production, and the third wave never quite made it off the drawing board.

Woah, slow down there Bucky! You're CRAZY!
>>
The toys were pretty good and I remember getting Bucky and then Deadeye at KB Toys as a kid, probably already on clearance. But yes the sculpts and character designs were great for the era.

Finally watched the cartoon a few years ago as an adult and while lame it was more than ok for its time, I'm sure I would've liked it as a kid, watching it felt like Star Fox the animated series.

I'd buy Deadeye Duck since he was my favorite but nothing from the franchise really appeals to me. I remember seeing pics from the final products of that Medusa line and they weren't great. Octobertoys did an amazing Skeleton Warriors figure as well but that license was dead and no one cared for it and I'm guessing this will have a similar death.

The people behind pic related? I worry that they'll get the aesthetic completely wrong. If we get more Bucky in needs to be in line with old Bucky, or at least follow suit and style of Neca TMNT.

I doubt they're going to Chuck E. Cheese the poor line.
