Does anyone have any good recommendations on good knight figures? It doesn't need to be an actual knight but figures with armor like ones knights would wear.

These are only good for peasant infantry because of the copy paste armor, not knights.
They don't even have mounts.
>>5976279
they may soon though
>>5976279
Autismo

>They don't even have mounts.
Only because you're not even trying.
>>5976215
I probably should ahhve been more specific in my post saying that I'm also looking for something with fairly good articulation similar to Figma, Revoltech, or SHF
>>5976690
They are fairly well articulated. Single joints but for the most part gets the job done. Otherwise no, surprisingly there aren't a whole lot of knight figures.
>>5976279
>these don't count because I said so
>>5976715
Seems odd that there aren't more knight themed figures. Of course I've seen things that are similar that work fine like some of the Kamen Riders but you'd think a line of some knights would have happened by now from someone
>>5976690
The only place Mythic Legion figures are really lacking articulation is their arms. Except for their lack ability to hold swords 2 handed, they can pull off some great poses and do just about everything a knight would need to do.
The upcoming wave looks to have improved articulation due to more joints and slimmer sculpts. But the new parts are all elf and female oriented so they may not be for everyone. Just one new armored torso thrown into the mix of old parts would be nice, but I doubt the new parts will be fully compatible with the initial wave.

These make for a very good base to customize them to the kind of knight you want

They need ball joint wrists so the hands can be angled in more ways than they currently can. Alt heads would be awesome too, I like options for my figures.
>>5977006
And I would want the hands to be able to move around as well. If I can think of it, I'd like my figure to be able to perform it
Mythic Legions need more practical armored knights, with some nicks and damage. Ornamental armors were rarely used for actual combat.
Like those plumes in the helmet, that's just something for the opponent to pull your head down and then chop you at the neck.
>>5977265
You realize it's a fantasy toy line, right?
Also, you can just take the plume off if you don't like it.
>>5977326
Well, then we need a realistic line, by them or anyone else.
Doesn't need to be uber realistic, but just following the Dark Souls approach.
>>5977327
Fromsoftware would make bank if they sold licensed figures, but who would be the company to produce such a line? Two things that would be needed are strong joints, because big weapons and armor, and swappable pieces at the joints.
>>5976190
If you prefer the maille and surcoat look, Mego knight clothes look pretty decent on ML bodies. Problem is you'd have to find a decent helmet.

I love the cape and vials on him, they just work so well on these guys. With just the smallest accessories, these figures just look incredible.
>>5977006
Agreed, a ball hinge wrist would've been fantastic. Being able to point their weapons forward would add so much more character to these guys.
>>5977327
It would've been amazing if one of the heroic knights had some dirty and worn armor. The good guys all looked too clean, and their best figures are the ones who look like they actually use their armor. There's one upcoming female knight (pic related) who can fit this concept, so hopefully there will be some matching male knights
>>5977725
She looks pretty awesome. Is she going to be part of the next wave of them?
>>5977725
Oh man is that part of Mythic Legions next release? Their supposed 2.0 kickstarter?
>>5977327
>Dark Souls approach
Well you can get figma Guts if you're willing to spend a few hundred
>>5977530
>I'd drop some serious money on buying any good figures from Dark Souls or Bloodborne but I cannot think of anyone that would be able to make a good 6 inch figure with the types of weapons from the games
Well we're soon going to find out if Figma can pull it off.
>>5977855
Oh my god. When?
>>5977872
Probably not until 2017, they were just announced last July. But hey, it's really something, isn't it?
>>5977873
I'm overwhelmingly happy. I'm hoping they turn out really well. If so I'm gonna be broke as fuck once preorders start
>>5977877
If they're done by the same crew that did the Silent Hill ones then yeah these should really be great.
>>5977883
Were the Silent Hill Figmas that good?
>>5977929
Not that anon, but yeah. They're really good. FREEing's realistic figma sculpts are generally much better than Max Factory's. FREEing are also in charge of the Table Museum series of figmas, and have made the more recent Berserk figmas like Slan and Femto
>>5977725
>female knight
>>5977771
>>5977779
Yes, the next wave will feature new parts for females and elves. They showed off some at SDCC (iirc) including a female Vampire queen as well as femvamp troop builders. At this point they're expected to start the next KS sometime in January.
Currently, the missing Legion Builders, Wave 2 Birds and wave 1.5 ML figures are shipping to backers/pre-orders, and extra stock of these guys will go on sale in a few weeks. The 1.75 guys and the trolls are also set to arrive sometime in December.
>>5977844
I don't know about the latter ones, but I don't think you're missing too much by not getting Figma Guts. I have both the Black Swordsman and Band of Hawk versions and neither of them are all that impressive. The thick builds with really tiny Figma joints just looks awkward and neither of them have decent capes.
The Bloodborne Hunter should be great though, his slimmer build would mesh well with Figma's joint system.
>>5978142
It sounds like FREEing should have been in charge of the Metroid Prime 3 figma...
