They always prioritized their FF figures above everything else. It's why you'll find that most people keep their FF Play Arts and PAKs, because they're among the few properties that Square Enix gives enough of a shit about to actually do properly (most of the time anyway).

These don't look that bad really, but I still have a huge problem with the shading on the skin (it looks very hamfisted and amateurish), and the hair looks bad on all of them (both paint and sculpt wise). It's odd, I know whoever sculpts for them is pretty talented with stuff like armor and weapons, but I don't think I've ever seen a good hair sculpt from them. It always looks weird and doughy, and the bad paintjobs really don't help.
