If the firmer, then it's still going to be largely useless because figures will only be able to scale with other figures from their own franchise and even then, it wouldn't be guaranteed. They could do a 6" Sora and then release a 6" Mickey or something.

I'm guessing 70 MSRP, and we'll get it for 60ish on Amiami and other sites with pre-order discounts. Most of the KH/FF PAK still sit between 100-120 MSRP in their 10" size. I don't think they'll put too small of a gap in their prices.

Square Enix. That's who will be making it, end of story. You can google square Enix and toys together for more details but considering you asked, here is the basic rule that thus far has yet to be broken in the past decade or two. And if it ever does get broken I assure you all of toy will let you know with duplicate threads being made.

If square Enix has made the game, any figures made of the characters will likewise be made by square Enix, no exceptions. Final fantasy, kingdom hearts, and so on.

I'd prefer a 6 inch line even if they are in the $60-70 price range. I wouldn't go for it at $80 though.

The main things keeping me from buying PAK right now are:
-Take up too much space
-Can't be displayed with my other figures
-Prices went skyrocketing into the $100-150+ range
-Shit quality control (mostly fixed)
-Dumb engineering choices (was fixed then they reverted to doing dumb shit)
-Crap proportions (still a big problem on lots of stuff)

So being in the 6 inch scale solves a lot of those right off the bat.

The thing is, the inflated prices have much less to do with how much plastic is used and more with Square-Enix being greedy ass fucks. I mean, PAKs generally average like what...10" or so, right? And the typical starting price is now around $120. Think about what else you could get for $120...like say, a NECA 18" figure, which uses SUBSTANTIALLY more plastic.

This. Think back to when PAK started raising prices, it was before the whole yen thing. The prices actually stayed relatively consistent during the yen thing which means they were gouging people like crazy.

So chances are they will gouge like crazy with this 6 inch line too. The first few releases might be cheaper to entice people but the prices will quickly go up once they establish a good base of customers. Also worth noting Square-Enix doesn't even have to pay for licenses for some of this shit so the prices or PAK make even less sense in that context.

I remember when KH2 came out and they released the figures for em, 40$ and a damn nice quality too.

Now they got too big and want 120$-300$ for one damn figure, but damn if it isn't worth it....
