What's the best Hellboy figure aside from the Sideshow 1/6 one? I don't want to jump to that scale just yet.

Comic wise, the Mezco Hellboy is pretty much the best, but they're damn expensive now. I've got the animated version figure, and he's nice, but super top heavy and his legs seem fragile. There are the movie version figures that cost a bit less, but I can't speak for their quality at all. I've got a Mezco Abe, and he's really nice, amazing sculpt, though a bit stiff to pose.

I have the Mezco movie figures, and I love 'em. As mentioned, the Hellboy figures themselves can be stiff to pose, but they're sturdy as all get out and are fantastically sculpted.

I have that Hellboy, the Cat one. He's pretty sweet. Really want to find a trenchcoat one sometime.
>>5922112
so glad i managed to get trenchcoat comic hellboy few years ago for affordable prices
too bad the leather on his trenchcoat is disintegrating now
also have krigaffe and sammy
>Hellboy toy thread.
Neat, I still have that old con-exclusive shirtless Hellboy figure by Mezco.
I have this guy still in box, looks pretty cool but I really have my doubts if he would be able to stand on his own.
>>5924070
Huh, I have this but don't remember that sword at all.
Anyway, he stands pretty well if you use his tail for support
>>5924083
Ha, I used to use the standard until it snapped off inside of him.
>>5922808
The trenchcoat limits the articulation on the right arm severely. If you want decent articulation on that arm, of course.
The SDCC movie Hellboy is probably one of my favorite figures of all time. His fist is faux stone, pleather trench coat and a pewter Samaritan.

Looking to sell?
>>5921928
Mezco trenchcoat comic Hellboy. That's the last American figure purchase I can remember making and I don't regret it one bit. Articulation is okay to serviceable, sculpt is superb.
>>5921928
If you can find one, because they're rarer than unicorn dung, you might want to consider the Damtoys Hellboy instead of the Hot Toys version.
I really liked Mezco's Extreme Hellboy, but I'm sure he costs a ton now since it was a Comic Con exclusive.

What's this guy going for nowadays, anyway? Christmas IS coming up awful fast...
More importantly, how's his coat holding up? Always nervous with different materials on one figure. After finding out the Library editions and BPRD hardcovers are going out of print, I finally took the plunge. Been a bit of a fan since I first saw the movie. God, was that really 12 years ago?
All I have is the ltd ed Ghost variant of Lobster Johnson, and it's not in great nick cos I couldn't care properly for figs back in the day
Not my pic btw
>>5935441
That is pretty awesome, I've been hoping to find a regular Lobster for a semi decent price. All the ones I find though are missing guns or the brain.
>>5935753
holy shit, he looks straight out a mignola drawing
My Mezco Hellboy collection. If only they had made it to a third series...
>>5935959
I am insanely jealous of this. I'm missing the heads, the alien, and kriegaffe. Sooomeday.
>>5935959
I have literally never been more jealous on /toy/ before. I would kill for that collection.
This is on eBay and relatively cheap.. However, it's from Hong Kong. What are the odds that this is a knock off?
>>5930174
>DamToys
So THATS what that is! Ive had this fucker for so long now and ive never known who made it
>>5929659
I'm still not sure, but here's a pic of it.
>>5937213
There's one for $70 nib on ebay that I was considering. That's what I paid for Abe.
>>5937833
Well if you think about it, shoot me an email with a price.
Bumping in the only thread on /toy/ I care about

>>5944694
I've been meaning to get this. Any problems with him standing?
>>5945139
I keep mine on a thick solid wooden shelf so theres no chance of any wiggling. He never took a dive.
