is it just me, or was the initial release of Combiners Optimus Prime by Hasbro was a hasty cashgrabbing method for them ?
I mean look at that standing pose, splitting it one hinge away makes it look too far away.
Also, the paintjob quality's going down day by day. I don't expect a premium paintjob for something within this price range, but still.
Also, anyone who have this figure and have done some repaintjobs, or tweaking to make it look better ? Would love to take some cues from it.
i almost wish i was a janitor or a mod so that i could ban tf faggots that adamantly refuse to use their containment threads

Man, good thing you weren't a pre-generals oldfag, huh?
Yes op this figure was a blatant cash grab pre mold for motormaster.
The funny thing is that it's going for a lot of money now. Sell it

Exactly how much is one of em selling for ?

>i almost wish i was a edgey teenage edgelord so that i could cry all day about tf faggots that adamantly refuse to use their containment threads
wish granted buttercup.

You should browse the 3rd party tf often, and google seqrch for this op custom. The people in china have actually develop a set of custom parts for this particular version of optimus prime, and it actually looks really good.

Upwards of $60.

Whatever reason, it compromised Motormaster way too much. Had Optimus been a retool of MM instead, it might not've been such a problem.

MISB you'll probably get about 45
out of box, 20.
>>5863407
wtf, why?
>>5863148
Yeah, it was clearly done with Motormaster in mind but they released Prime first in hopes more people would buy it to get a first impression of the mold. If Motormaster was released first, Prime would probably shelfwarm- which the Battle Core version later kinda did.
You can see a similar tactic with Titans Return Sentinel Prime/Astrotrain, Stripes/Ravage, Alpha Bravo/Vortex

>Yeah, it was clearly done with Motormaster in mind
That's entirely subjective.

Idk, it's what I seen though.
