I don't like how much NSSD fills up posting of this sort but he's so prolific it seems like it can't be helped.

This thread gave such nostalgic memories of Bionicle as a child, but then sadness remembering all the pieces that are missing, broken, or otherwise harmed. I was able to assemble some of Toa, Bohrok, Visorak so not completely ruined. I love the headbutt of the Bohrok so much!

I guess this one could be called Snippity Snap based on the pincers. Using Makuta mask because the only default female one I have is both ill-fitting and couldn't find.

The idea of a bra seemed cool, but it mostly just flops around how I have it assembled. Same with the buttocks. In general standing was a problem and I should have thought about things like weight distribution instead of just throwing on things that look cool.

I'm honestly surprised anyone even remembered this exists. I posted that wip months and months ago and have barely posted anything about it since.

Anyway, to answer your question, it's still at the 'in-progress' stage. I haven't given up on finishing it. Recently I just haven't had the time or energy to complete it, that's all. Plus getting distracted by other projects doesn't help either. Thinking about it, I've probably got everything I need to finish her on-hand since I ordered a bunch of blue and orange pieces when I was making it. So there's no real reason why I can't get her done some time soon. I'm just a lazy cunt is all.

But yeah, It could be finished tomorrow, or it could be finished 10 months from now, only time and my enthusiasm levels will tell.

Are the new Bionicle ugly, or is this just nostalgia goggles affecting view?

Well, it's looking pretty great thus far! I for one can't wait to see the finished product. The system integration here is really well done, and the whole figure has a nice sorta "flowy" look to it.
