Did anyone has his/her figma wish/wishes come true, any disappointments?

Mine did with pic related, I was kinda sure that Max Factory wouldn't make him since they rarely do male figmas but I'm quite happy to be wrong. Day one preorder!

I think they may have a pre-painted package but most garage kits I've seen are generally not painted. Joints may be included but I remember reading a review on a Samus Garage kit that the person had to buy a joint pack to finish it.

Also the general costs of some kits are up there from what I hear. If you really want them then there's this site that may list it

Well, they made legs for Venus de Milo who has her shit under wraps. They'll probably just make something that makes sense for the time period, and I'm willing to bet they'll be swappable with some kind of base and frame so you can have them look like the paintings.

It's currently airing in the US in English so if there is interest it'll affect the price right away. I speculate that they may be planning to sell a lot. You won't see a huge price jump like you did with ryuko when the English dub hit the west much later.

It'd be a bad item to scalp heaps of, but it's almost always cheaper to get at release if you just want one for yourself

This is exactly the type of mindset GSC wants their buyers to have, and why they keep getting away with making (some) figmas with minimal effort and a big price tag. I mean, do what you want, but seriously, considering how popular the franchise became it's actually somewhat insulting to see something crafted so lazily.
Reminds me of the Killua figma from Hunter x Hunter. The sculpt was jarringly weird and allowed for super limited movement, and the only accessories included were a tiny water glass (pretty much irrelevant to his character) and a skateboard. Not even a yo-yo part or electricity effect part. Or another example would be Yoshika Miyafuji. They made a new figma based on the Strike Witches movie, but it was literally the same exact figma they made in 2010 which cost $40 less. It's crazy. What's worse is that they announced so much last WF and we still have so many in promo image/uncolored prototype stage of production right now that I'm pretty sure at one point they're just going to model them quickly, with barely anything, and just slap on a big price tag to speed up the process.
