Its kinda weird that they eschewed the trend in SoC designs of making them super close to the seemless animation style. I know that's pretty tall order, but they've done it with swappable parts. At any rate, this looks closer to an update of the toy than any attempt at doing the anime design. which isn't bad, since a definitive, toy update of Voltron/Golion is needed, but at the same time there's been so many attempts at just that its kinda underwhelming.
