If your looking for something small to get before building/buying a full size racing drone. I recommend this

The help guides I've read run contrary to your advice; learn to run without FPV first. Besides, if I wanted to drop $150 on gear right off the rip, I'd just buy a racer.

Have you flown at all? If not you need to buy something better than that.

Something like this is going to give you a better feel for what you need to learn and build the muscle memory you will need.

Sure you could just build a racer from the start, but you need something you can crash over and over again without needing to do serious work on and will take the hits. You can FUCK this ares up and it will still fly true, short of submarining it in a lake.

Cheap toys aren't going to make you a good flyer. They are just going to make you think you are good enough to the point at which you will wreck hobby level shit and give up.
