Yeah, he's a good mold, but I don't let that be enough for me. There has to be something else. In this case it was the thought of funny spin off adventures starring Ratchet and Bantor, which was caused by that one line of dialogue.

But let me tell you. Spin off of canon characters is the weakest of all my reasons to buy certain toys. It never ends well. I realize I am not invested in telling those spin off stories, so it makes sense to get rid of them, but I did buy the toys for a reason, so I more than likely would end up buying them again in the future. It leaves me in this limbo where I have to just hold on to them and hate myself for not spending that money on more meaningful toys first.

Unfortunately for the AB mold you can't rip out the legs straight away. You can for the Fireflight mold (it actually makes it easier because the legs slot into grooves, so that makes it rather difficult to unhook them like on AB), but doing the same on AB is guranteeing the destruction of his kneecaps

Good suggestion and not bad looking but I was hoping to keep in a deluxe like price point/size since that's mostly what my collection consists of. I've seen most of the Warriors get major improvements with Reprolables.

For something that scales with Warrior class, there's TAV-21 Optimus Prime and TAV-33, the Supreme mode version.

Takara doesn't have the FOC Grimlock-retool yet. Only the hasbro platinum 2-pack has it.

From what I heard from Japan, there is a lot of QC issues with the set.
stuck knee on onslaught, head that pops off for Blastoff and the general imprecision on the pegs and plugs.
I don't know if this is very wide spread or not. The head issue with Blastoff is somewhat true.
The pegs and plugs thing are not really different from I got from Hasbro IMO.

Superion easily wins as best combiner. He's the only one that looks good and doesn't have garbage hips.

If you are looking more for a good team more than a combiner, than Defensor has much more variety.

Alternately, as long as you get the Silverbolt mold as the torso, the combined form will be solid and the limbs can be anything.

I'm getting the SDCC fort max, since his colors homage rebirth but cerebros head leaves him open for headmasters accuracy I've instead looked towards the bottom line, cost.

Hardhead has been the deal breaker, I actually LOVE the mouthplate design of the hasbro, he's also cheaper due to a lack of a gimmick weapon and shipping cost, but I...first encountered hardhead in japanese g1 (dunno why but I watched all of western g1 but went to japanese g1 instead of rebirth).
