Not too keen on Scarface. I'd get Clan Leader if there's any leftovers in the next few months but basically I want to get the 3 main AVP Preds first.

I have 2 of the old Wolf Predator figures (masked and closed mouth), Berserker Predator (masked and repainted), Nightstorm Predator, Battle Armor Lost Predator (masked Borg), and the City Hunter with breather mask from the 2-pack.

I also have 4 Jungle Hunter Predators as listed in the following:
- Battle-Damaged (from "Predators")
- Classic (the old ver. with V hips)
- Water Emergence (the waterfall scene)
- Unmasked (from the Jungle/City Hunter 2-pack)
- Final Battle (from the 2-pack with Dutch)

Also have all Dutch figures except for Jungle Patrol Dutch since he never actually fought anything in that outfit (I prefer Jungle Encounter Dutch anyway).

The handle on my Kenner Ripley's smart gun done did snap off. How does one best contact NECA about this kinda thing?

They could've probably made a lot of money just by including a deadite hand with AvED Hero Ash so you could buy two and have an evil Ash to fight the real one.

The problem with Neca is that they have their own weird scale which is closer to 1/10.

1/12 weapons are easy to get a hold of, there's an entire line dedicated to guns in that scale.

Hands wouldn't work terribly well, since almost all of the have different colored skin tones, so they'd be off on most of the figures....

They did a skull pack like 3 or 4 years ago, to go with the Trophy display room.

A weapons set with some extra plasma casters, daggers/swords, comb-staffs, etc would be good, though.

Ripley looks great. She really does. I think she's like the first Ripley, one that looks better in person than in some photos. But yeah, I could see lightening the lip paint, MAYBE the hair a shade, but I think she's a winner. Glad to have the three main Sigourneys now.

So what's NECA's excuse to still have single jointed elbow in 2016? Has there been any explanation?

On some figures it might be excusable - static characters like the Arnolds, or short sleeved skinny girl character like Ripley and Sarah Connor, but it's so frustrating for Rocky figures because none of them could pull off the boxing stance, you know the one pose they all supposed to do.

Yes. The latest AVP Preds and Alien do have double jointed elbows, so they're learning and it is obvious that they know double jointed elbow is better. They even do have double jointed elbow on figure as old as Ryu Hayabusa. With the Rocky line "reboot" it is such a missed opportunity not to make another male buck with double jointed elbows.

Yeah, they're solid. Might not hold them up forever if you try putting them in crazy poses since they're kinda heavy, but I don't think that's even possible with the TF2 figures.

For pyro you can easily clamp onto the tank on his back, or limbs. Or you could even just pose him so he slightly leans into the claw.

Checked with my pyro, solly and demo to be sure.

What's it lacking?
It has hinged elbows, knees, and hips. Swivel hips, biceps, waist, thighs, and hands. Ball-hinged shoulders and ankles (which likely are reversed to do ankle rocker range). The head is likely double ball jointed, one in the head and another in the base of the neck.

What can the NECA do better? Probably just a ball jointed waist?
The sculpt isn't even almost perfect and looks nothing like the actual art, unlike DCC's masterpieces, which can get even more articulation.

Now the Greg Capullo series is an improvement? yes, but it's far from being stellar. I love the nightwing I really do but mainly because is the only nightwing worth a shit in comparison with the alternatives. The superman looks decent but it will suffer from the same problems this series has, the head articulation won't be enough for superman and the ab crunch won't help either when it comes to a flying pose.
Other issues like single jointed elbows, the ankle articulation is shit and not good and I pray the articulation won't be as loose as it is in my nightwing. That's my two cents thought and besides I don't want to discuss DCC in a NECA thread, feels disrespectful
