I actually bought four unopened g1 mask packs at the beginning of the year. It was about $40 AUD with shipping. Totally worth it. Can't find the photos i took, but i was pretty happy with the masks i got.

The packs would have been $3-5 AUD each in 1999(?), so i paid about twice the original retail price, pretty good if you ask me for a 16~ year old unopened toy.

The line getting canned seems about right. Well over half the time the sets look like garbage to mediocre at best, and mediocre sets will lead to mediocre sales. Not to mention they haven't done great with marketing, maybe then they could get stupid kids to buy shit like the skull spider or quake beast. Lego has nobody to blame but themselves, and fans could be more vocal about the declining quality rather than accept what we are getting. I shouldn't have to buy more sets/pieces to improve the quality of the ones I'm buying. Not happy the line seems to be on its death bed, but I'm not surprised.

Made some minor detail tweaks on Quake and Storm Beast.

Same with all the ones around me. And I've been checking since the 3rd. I figured they may be getting shipments in late but almost every Wal-Mart and target around me just has some uniters and beasts and a shit ton of UtH.

Finally went to my nearest Toysrus and they had all of the newest wave with only one storm beast though. All of the older sets and some uniters were on clearance. But wave 1 toa weren't which was weird.

My local Wal-Mart also did a clearance on the United wave and I got some more of the beasts for 1/2 off which was pretty neat.

I hope I'm not bothering anyone, but... I got the kunai, so I wanted to take a picture or two with them. I'm not 100% certain it looks good at the end of the chain, but they work quite well as weapons. Also, the scarf now has mixel joints in it to make it poseable.

That's not too surprising, considering.

Most of the Lego-themes have most of the concept art documented very well. Hell, even the G2 design team has that book of G1 stuff. But I doubt that everything is neatly organized. They could be spread all over.

But with Faber, most of it is with one guy, and a guy who had pretty strong grip to the concept. Also Bonkle is pretty important theme for Lego as a whole, despite what other people say. No one would give a rat's ass about Faber files if it were about Knight's Kingdom 2 or something

Perhaps by the time the Journey to One happens, Kulta is in the shadows with the Mask of Skull Spiders? Actually, they're supposed to look like some sort of golden buckles, but I can see where you're coming from. The thing is, the grey color is already used to simulate the "skin" of the character, so I needed another color. I may try black, but they're rare and expensive, and I'm not sure they would look good on the figure, so I would need someone to photoshop it for me since I suck at this. Tan may be an option, but is equally bright with no real logic behind the color, so I don't think it may be a better idea.

Thank you very much ! I do like the yellow bushings too, but I do think >>5741524 is right when saying they stand out. Since she's a ninja, it doesn't really make sense to have bright and very visible colors, even with the scarf already being dark red. There is another yellow bushing on her back to keep the net in place, but it's hidden most of the time by the scarf.

It's too bad the more recent arm build I have don't let me put them on the forearm cover, but I may try to find a way to incorporate a bit more, I'll see.
