Great little desk toy. The included stand is needed as Rex struggles to stand on his own most of the time.
Snake and Liquid are pretty much useless at standing up on their own. They can do it but they will fall at the slightest breeze.

The amount of articulation is way more than you might expect too. I wouldn't have really said it was worth the price it released at but I loved the Rex design enough to overlook it.
Also, the inside box card comes out with little cardboard boxes and ! signs to cut out.

And yeah it seems expensive, but it's not like theres many choices for a Rex figure available. And this is the cheapest.

Joints are fine, not a single complaint.
Not that heavy either but his centre of balance is fucked and so falls over backwards if you balance him on the ends of his feet. So expect to use a stand if you are going for a pose like in the picture in the OP.

Another question, since you seem to have a bunch of figures. Hows he look with the revoltech Solid Snake, if you've got one? This D-Spec Rex looks to be around 4-5 inches, right? So he's about the same size as the revomini?

I ended up selling mine for cheap because I didn't like it. It has weak friction joints and needs the stand for holding itself up at all. It was a pretty major disappointment for me.

As far as sculpt, paint and accuracy goes, it was pretty nice though. The playability just wasn't there though so I had to get rid of it. If you just want something to display, it's fine, but playing with it is mostly out.

I bought 2 hangars just to go with Rex and also my other mechs for photo ops.
