ALRIGHT LADS.
JUST GOT PAID.
BUYING A FIG T O N I G H T.
TRY TO CONVINCE ME WHAT TO BUY.
I like Papo's figures, so I'm looking to get something along those lines, but I'll take any suggestions. Nothing TOO expensive.
GO.
>>5624743
Buy a mecha whale.
>>5624743
OPEN THE DOOR
GET ON THE FLOOR
OP SHOULD BUY A DINOSAUR
>rolling a 47
>>5624743
Where's the best place to buy these?
Forgot pic.
>>5624749
I like to get them on eBay. Usually get a decent price for them. When I see them in stores they're usually over-priced.
>>5624746
Not OP. Done!
>>5624748
>Brand that sells the best mecha whale?
I only know of the one figure, it's a vinyl by deep fried toys.
These damn skeletons. I just threw down 75 bucks on them and a bunch if dumb accessories

>>5624759
I have a fuckload of skeletons. Good taste though.
>>5624757
This hideous thing?
>>5624765
Yeah.
Can anyone recommend a good dragon?
For how good their dinosaurs are, Papo's dragons are literal cancer.
>>5624767
That revoltech Jizai Okimono is pretty cool.
>>5624772
>revoltech Jizai Okimono
This guy? I do like it. I was kind of preferring something with a more western style, but my dick did move a bit.
>>5624766
I can't find it anywhere, lad. I'm too scared to buy from shady sites and haven't ever gotten anything anywhere besides ebay and amazon and it's not on either of those sites.
The search continues.

>>5624794
Fuck off.
Welp, alright. That guy is actually pretty cheap, so I will pick him up. Good suggestion m8.
But I need one other thing, preferably around the same price range. I don't wanna spend more than 50 or 60 bucks, but at the same time don't want to spend less than that either.
What else should I get lads?
b u m p
>>5624747
Holy shit
Lads?
>>5624799
Okay, so it's not directly a find toy -> buy toy -> get toy thing, but-
In a week or so, the Kickstarter for the articulated (feathered) raptor figures is starting. Is that something you might have some interest in?
>>5624956
Hell yes. But what is the difference between pic related and those, just articulation?
>>5624970
of course, the one in your picture is practically a statue. You could have much more fun with the articulated one.
>>5624977
I am excite.
But it doesn't do anything for my purchase(s) tonight.
I leave work in 2 hours and must place my order(s) by then.
>>5624995
you should get Japanese figures. I would get the mgs2 soldier figma, like at least 3 of them.
>>5625002
Why? To scalp?
>>5625021
>baryonyx is shit
A-are you sure, anon? I was hype...
Will we ever get a decent fig of her, lads?
>>5624767
McFarlane's got a series of nice dragons. Some are proper figures, others are kinda statueshit.
Someone convince me RIGHT NOW to not buy the figma Bruce Lee.
>>5625055
You're right.
Especially about the statueshit. I cannot even tell which are figs and which are statues.
WHY ARE PAPO'S DRAGONS SO FUCKING SHIT? WHY? THEIR DINOSAURS ARE SO GOOD.
Must be made by different sculptors or artists or something.
>>5625076
>Someone convince me RIGHT NOW to not buy the figma Bruce Lee.
The SHF is available.
>>5625078
Whoa...
Fuck me, it's like triple the price of the figma, though.
>>5625078
This. The SHF is amazing and totally worth picking up.
>>5625080
Yes, because the figma got BTFO by the SHF. The figma went down in price while the SHF went up.
>>5625085
That fucking blows. A little too high in price, I'd have to save for a couple weeks to afford it.
>>5624743
>buying poopo
buy something good, OP. these arent too expensive either
>>5625089
>dislikes Papo
>posts feces
(You)
>>5625089
Mate that looks like a playschool toy. Why don't you like Papo?
>>5625094
aritulation :^)
>>5625096
Eh, I definitely hate when toys aren't articulated for the most part, but Papo dinosaurs are a real happy medium of a "neutral" and dynamic stance. Plus articulate jaws, etc. They also don't need stands to stand up like typical statueshit either.
Alright. Thread got some ideas churning, but no cigar yet. I'll be back tomorrow to talk about toys.
>>5624747
SHEEEEEEIIIIT
>>5625030
This is the best we're probably going to get.
It is really good though.
>>5625021
Dude fuck off with your shilling bullshit. Nobody wants that feathered hunk of shit.
>>5624747
Holy shit!
>>5625226
I actually do have that, and it's awesome, but it's statueshit.
Does anyone know which dinosaur figure this is? I need one for reasons.
>>5624767
I can recommend a BAD dragon...
>>5624747
HOLY SHIT
>>5626201
Walking with Dinosaurs (the movie) troodon.
Alright, guys, I'm back and I need help. I only have until tomorrow to buy before I'm not gonna be around a computer for a few days.
pls respond
Best G-fig coming through.
I have this same thing, except it's black (no green tint) and blue spikes, which is way superior to this, but he's old and broken and missing some spikes.
>>5626965
I dunno, still cool.
This is only ten bucks, do I get?
Honestly, my grail is this card, but I've never seen it for sale anywhere. I actually saw what I thought was it on eBay last week, but it was in French or something. Drove me up a wall.
>>5626978
Youd be a fool not to
>>5626993
It looks dusty and old as fuck, but I'll tell you something.
I still have this toy from back when the movie came out, but its missing the top of its head. I'm honestly gonna buy it either way and tear its fucking head off and put it on my Godzilla that's in much better condition.
It's only $10 so I have 50 or so more to spend. Still thinking about that whale mentioned earlier ITT to consider as well.
>>5626993
This.
>D-Arts Charizard costs hundreds of dollars
Oh shit, just found this guy new for $40~
Anyone have it? Is it good? Worth it?
...any cool Johnny Cash figs?
>BWGM goes for $300-$500~
Fuck me.
>>5627037
FUCK I HAD THIS ONE AS A KID
Tbh I don't know if it's worth much, but sentimentally speaking it's the most valuable toy I had ... The claws could be removed and were like gauntlets, and man those articulations were really good ... You lucky bastard.
>>5627125
>I HAD THIS ONE AS A KID
Didn't that only come out a few years ago?
>>5624759
What's the name of these spooky figures already ? I mean the reference, I also feel like investing some money in these skeletons
>>5627033
>The ball joints on mine are ass and never click
>Tail and Neck constantly fall off
I don't know who feels worse, you or me.
>>5627126
Dunno but I'm sure as hell I had one back in 2004-2005.
>>5627134
Wow. Fuck it then.
I remember I had a rad Charizard, but I forget what it was called. There was a fireball in its mouth and a button on its back would launch it out. You could launch the fire on its tail in the same way.
It also had Blastoise and Venusaur counterparts which could be filled with water to spray out its cannons and launch vines from its flower respectively.
If I can find that Charizard, I'll get that.
>>5627137
>>5627137
There were other Wargreymon figures years before the D-Aarts. You probably had one of those.
>>5627148
I only buy toys I can play with.

I play with my toys.
>>5627150
Haha I still do but I'm more careful now. Pretty sure I can remember myself bathing with this Wargreymon, scratching my belly with its claws ...
>>5627154
I had dinosaurs I would play with in my bathtub that I sang with and pretended were my friends who loved me.
Fuck I wish you could spoiler on /toy/
Fuck I wish I had friends
>>5627155
I had this Action Man toy and you could put your hand in the shark as it was a puppet
I used to play with it and eat all the other toys
I also pretended it was eating off my wee-wee
I'm so retarded it hurts
>>5627158
>always wanted a shark to play with in the tub
>first shark toy that could be used in the tub I got when I was 11
>by then I got out of the tub as soon as I was done masturbating
life is rough
>>5627160
Should have used the shark to masturbate
>>5627162
>those soft, rubbery teeth caressing your shaft
I was a naive fool
I did use it to dig up grubs in my yard and pretend the shark was some kind of subterranean insectivore (I'm autistic).
I g-guess I'll try tomorrow. My last chance before the end of my week.
>>5627043
I dunno, good taste though.
>>5626965
>no fun allowed
>no figs of the two best versions of Godzilla
OP is back for the last time. Guys pls help.
This guy looks nice, but he's so pricey...
>>5628856
How much is it?
>>5628869
On eBay the cheapest it's going for is $40~
Not bad, but that's a lot for a single dinosaur fig. I'd easily spend $20, but $40's a little much I think.
If I don't get any better suggestions I will probably settle for it I guess. I do want it, but $$$$$$
I'd prefer the Brachiosaurus, but that's like $50~
I mean, it doesn't have to be a Papo dinosaur, I'd take any suggestion into consideration. The mecha whale earlier ITT was a neat unconventional idea.
>>5627033
>>5627134
>>5627141
Found the Charizard you were talking about. A good fig for play albeit the wings fall off kind of easily.
ALRIGHT. I'm definitely getting this. Thanks to the anon who found it.
It's only $15~ so I can get one or two more things and still be within budget.
What is your favorite toy /toy/ ? What would you buy right now (that's not for scalping) i.e. something (You) want that's around 20 bucks (maybe as much as $40 depending on what it is).
Maybe this to go with the Charizard? That would be a lot of Pokéshit though.
>>5628891
the quality on it is shit. the plastic is brittle and after a few hours of play the wings will be eternally detached from the body
>>5628942
mother of God
wat do
>>5628892
Pls bros, I only have one hour left.
>>5628892
>>5629172
>a good /lego/ set
I fucking like the way you think. I wonder how much Jurassic World sets are going for, let me look. thanks famalam.
How much do you usually spend?
GOD DAMN.
At last, salvation.
Alright mates, I think this is my final purchase, but I need your say so to justify my spending 50 bucks on dinosaurs.
Yay or nay?
This was my final purchase lads. Thank you to those who helped curb my autism. Ended up spending $30~ on these two guys. Not a bad pickup and I'll be able to put a few bucks away for something maybe a little bigger when I get my next paycheck in a few weeks.
/blog
I remember someone earlier ITT suggested McFarlane Dragons, and I went to the mall the other day to get groceries or whatever and found this guy in the back of some clearance store for five bucks. Pretty rad.
