What's the likelihood of them putting out an Usagi in the Mugen highschool uniform?

At least all of the recent stuff uses ball joints instead of pegs like figmas. You'll get a common sized ball/socket every once in a while, but even in the same lines it's rare that you can just straight up swap heads. So unless you use some blu tack or just want to rest the new head on the neck, no.

GPS only applies to the plastics more than a decade ago + some exceptions here and there (some 07 TF movie toy was the latest one?). It was an issue with the kind of plastic they used, not inherently metallic plastic in general. Not all older toys had an issue with GPS, it was mainly Hasbro/Takara.

King's hips may not even be gold plastic, but a plain yellow-gold. Regardless, if you're getting into Ultra-acts, you'll be getting metallic coloured joints because most Ultramen have silver joints.

They already are going to impede the articulation a lot with the overcoat, they should have just made the visible part of the blazer sculpted into the overcoat as well and had a completely hidden torso joint behind soft rubber. I really doubt that what they have going on is going to get much better movement than the Camera and Light Patrol Men SHFs, which have fully covered torsos.

Diecast starts off at slightly higher prices than plastic. So simple undetailed pieces are relatively expensive to mold from diecast. GI Joes have used diecast hips since the 80s, just to give you an idea of how inexpensive it actually is.

Once you start needing detailed pieces, the cost for plastic skyrockets, while diecast only has a gradual increase. The materials they use are also really cheap and only the shipping weight is what will cost more than plastic.

Nothing special. Just tips on posing, and then tells you to take picture of the figure and draw on top of it to get your illustration done. 10 pages total.


I'm pretty disappointed with Body-chan. Body-kun is just fine, basic SHF articulation and proportion seems alright as a drawing model. Arms might be a tad short.

But Body-chan's proportion is a joke. Ok for anime character, but not realistic at all. Body should be wider and head smaller. Articulation and joints are pretty good though.

It was clear from photos, but strange having both side by side having different realism. Figma ARISE Motoko is a better drawing model right now. Figma ver 2 bodies will have higher head swamping potential too with 3mm pegs. Hope they get released normally.

Might make a 3mm peg that can fit in the neck ball socket for these SHFs.
