The middle head is the easiest to vary; simply use the brackets and slopes of your choice. If you want slopes closer together than the modified curve bricks, simply extend the face in front of the brackets using plates.

Misc. useful measurements for head customization. With the exception of the TKH head all of the ones I just posted use brackets; learning to take advantage of brackets for SNOT is the fundamental idea behind them all.

I hope this has been helpful for endeavoring waifu builders. Non-waifu builders may also find use in this for SNOT purposes, though some bricks also exist to accommodate for this.

I knew there was something I'd done wrong!

I've been building the Fortrex for the last hour and i just noticed a problem with one of the front wheels, it just won't move, i've tried to lessen the amount of friction the axels have but it still won't work, i think one of the axels are a tiny bit large and i can't remove one of them because it requires me to remove quite a bit of parts

it's annoying me quite a bit

wich will give you the opportunity to moc more.
But i'll agree with you that it's really hard to dissassemble mocs i like.

I have these suitcases with partitions in them for very specific parts, every suitcase has different kinds of stuff like minifig parts, car related things, plates .etc.
I sort by part instead of colour so i can easier find that one piece among a rainbow of other colours. For bricks however i do it by colour in baggies in a box because for building walls and the like you want to have a lot of the same colours ready next to each other.
For finished minifigs i dump them in a bowl.

For the figures, all their armor is the same color, except for the Ultimate figures, where their armor is made from trans-color plastic matching their color - In Lance's case, it's trans-white.

new sets are cool but i can appreciate the simplicity, playability and general imaginativeness the older space sets had at the same time. Classic space was so great because it really gave you that desire to explore and science and shit. Opposing factions are cool too, but CS just didn't need it that much. So instead of throwing in small opposing faction fodder into their sets that are generally lacking in interest, they concentrated on the things that were important and the sets felt more consistent and coherent to me.

But i think anyone can agree with me that the current larger selection of parts in sets is way superior for mocing it up than way back when, even when the very specific parts can feel a bit Poopy (yes, that's an acronym not shit) (the elusive dildo piece with half technic pin hole and handle comes to mind)

First time i actually had a pic with enough trans yellow studs for this thing.

The Carbonite Freezing Chamber set is fanastic. It makes me want other Cloud City sets like this. The action feature is fun, and the minifigures are top-notch.

Anyone get the Droid Escape Pod set (2016)? I want to get that next. Honestly just want it for the minifigures, but the pod looks like it has some useful pieces. Same for the Hoth set.

Really? The Detective's Office uses two paint roller handles as light fixtures, and they work pretty well because the pieces are that soft flexible rubbery plastic. You can tug on them without anything snapping.

Damn, but no one's actually played? I wanted to know how easy/simple it is to explain to non-gamers. My roommate used to play 40k with me, but my girlfriend hasn't played anything more complex than Armada/X-Wing.

Since no one's played, anyone want to discuss their plans? I was thinking about making a small town battlefield and running an army either of samurai or studios personnel. The samurai are a bit more obvious, but the studios army I was conjuring up sounds fun. In fact, I'll lay out some of my plans:

Hero - The Director
Basically the Steven Spielberg minifig, who just yells from his microphone and throws his slate/coffee/video tapes. Hero power "Take: Two" allows for a reroll on player turn or forces a reroll on opponent's turn.

Studio Workers armed with camera equipment which could be used either as low-range blunt objects or maybe some super-charged projectile weapons. They'd also drive around on dollies, cranes, trucks, etc. Light stands for long-range poles and stuff.

Actors would have special abilities that allow them to "act" like another type of character and use their abilities, whether in-game or from a set of standard powers (haven't decided yet). I'm not sure if there exists a good system for buffs/debuffs in Brikwars, but they'd also have powers over that too--buffing their allies with inspiring performances, or debuffing their enemies with sorrowful ones.

I'd probably have one-off Lizard Man and Gorilla figures to be Godzilla and King Kong.

Lastly, of course, camera-shaped tanks that fire lasers.

The gamepad is used in quite a few ways, and the expansion characters (which are normal minifigures) come with a brick built vehicle or gadget that has three forms. You can finish the game with the characters in the starter pack, of course.

Since the only person I was able to get to play it with was my young nephew, I'm the best resource you've got.
Best way to explain the basics is to stick with Use and Damage Rolls.
A figure's Skill dice has to roll equal to or greater than a weapon's set Use Rating, then the Weapon's Damage Dice have to roll greater than the Target's Armor Rating.
Move and Range can easily be covered by pre-made lengths of string.
