1/12 is a good compromise of sculpt, durability, and price. I don't think the hobby is well-served by too many scales. Below 1/18 is just fragile and sloppy. Above 1/6 is either a soap bottle or costs a fortune for diminishing returns versus 1/6.

Now the weird stuff between? NECA, Mattel, and Diamond should've just gone with 1/12 for all the difference it makes. PAK should just go 1/6 already now that they're charging like it.
