Went to an upscale mall a little ways away from me and walked past a little cart/food bar thing in the center with snacks and different shit. A box of kinder eggs caught my eye and I picked up a few for $2.99 each. I went back a few weeks later and they didn't have them again, but I'm hoping they'll make a stealth return.

There's an american one, Yowie that I see pop up occasionally in different stores. Recently Walmart had them with the christmas stuff. They have like monsters on the packaging and then the chocolate looks like one of them with a capsule inside with a ridged lip on it. The figures are actually really nice in there too. So far of the few I got, one was one of the actual fucking monsters and then the other ones were endangered animals. Got a kickass Tortoise and some sort of rabbit.

The Australasian Yowies from the late 90s were ever better. They were basically a high-tier oldschool kinder toy (the snap-together models) that was a native Australasian animal. After Wonderball was discontinued, some american company made a new design for chocolate eggs with a prize inside where there's a riged lip on the outside of the egg capsule so it can't be swallowed. There's like sports ones, Spider-man and Hello Kitty. In the last few years, Yowies from Aussieland have come over here since I guess the rigid capsule is ok.

OP's pic seems to show 7-11 but I don't think we've been able to figure out if its US or not.
