Nice to put this at the start of a thread, But basically, I'm trading these little shits away. Everything you see here must go, Simply because I don't want it.

I'm looking for Marvel/DC figs in return. but, Paypal can always work.

Yes, I'll wash the dust crust and greasy pizzaprints off them before i send them through snailmail.

So send me an email if you're interested! Questions and Offers are great, I'm a lonely man. fill my inbox with love.

There are some people there who are nice.

Pretty much all the women who work there are nice (though, they're like older ladies. Not younger girls) And there was this nice old dude who worked there, but I now realize I haven't seen him for a while.

The other half of the employees are all like, super awkward or just weird 30-40 something dudes.

Jeah I also think it's fucked that he smokes. The problem is that my wife smokes herself and so she doesn't forbid it. And I don't want to be the evil-step dad(not that he would listen to me).

Green text for update

>we just had a phone call (my wife and I).
>I tried to explain her how serious this situation is and how much certain figures where worth.
> she thinks that I am making this stuff up.. just to make a drama(because she thinks I have a problem with him).
>LOL how come those figures can be worth so much if they sell them so cheap at the super market?
>she tells me she will buy me some blindbags tomorrow if I chill out.
>also talked to the little shit, but he didn't say sorry or tell me where the figs went.

And the best thing!

It makes no sense for them to discard or destroy the bricks themselves when they can improve their public image by donating them to good causes. Emptying the boxes and just tipping out all the sealed bags into other larger boxes for redistribution would be faster than opening up all the bags and sorting the parts by colour to re-melt the plastic, or more intensive sorting to re-package them into sets; whereas just throwing it all away would be a PR nightmare once the mainstream media found out - and you would certainly have heard about that if it were actually the case.
>>
>>5424656
How do you know that the logistics of redistributing these sets would cost less/take less time than binning/recycling? Wouldn't it actually be better for them to privately sort those sets out instead of dealing with the public the way you're suggesting?

I don't even see why there would be any PR trouble; it's seen more publicly at LEGO Stores that employees throw away bricks on the floor, and no one's made a big deal about that.

I know what you are trying to do. I was really drunk that night and let out too much info, for which I have since apologized about.

I just built a lego batmobile and then a stripper pole. Why is my batman middle eastern? Are they taking the "Ben Al'muhammed Afleck" jokes seriously?
>>
>>5424678
How does an adult "play" with their sets? Most of my enjoyment comes from building the things and then maybe 20% comes from setting them somewhere and rearranging them from time to time
>>
>>5424663

I mentioned nothing about costs, but presumably more staff would need to be paid to do it. Binning and recycling aren't really comparable in this respect, since the plastic will need to be pre-sorted in the latter case. Again, arguably more time intensive than just tearing open boxes and pouring them into a container to be sent elsewhere.

As for PR trouble, there's a big difference between a few bricks on the floor near the PaB wall, and the outrage potential of another environmental issue for the press to jump on. Such things have a precedent, and TLG is an overly cautious company.

Same here. But I can build a spaceship. Or I can build a spaceship that's got opening hatches, swiveling turrets, an easy way to get the minifigs in and out and clips for tools/weapons, whatever; I think of stuff like that as playability. Bonus points for something that holds together well instead of looking pretty and falling apart in a passing breeze.

So, I have really bad OCD, and I'm very picky about my builds. I always make sure the notches at the ends of the pins (circled in green) are oriented as shown in the instructions. I also go so far as to make sure that the little friction bumps on the blue pins (circled in red) are all facing the same way, even though neither of these things has any impact on the model. >By destroying them, they keep Lego scarce.
Nice conspiracy theory bruh

>They don't re-melt the plastic.
Never said they did in this case. I just posed that as an unlikely alternative to simply throwing them away. Why is the idea that these parts are donated so unpalatable that you support a more dramatic and unrealistic possibility?

>They throw it away.
Why bother emptying out the boxes if everything is going to be crunched up anyway? Why make such a concession to recycle the cardboard, only to practically undo all that by destroying something that will require more oil to replace? Kids can fulfil the role of opening all the bags up, and they'll be happy to get paid in bricks for their "labour".

>What do you think you just heard about?
A Facebook repost that the media don't care about because there are zero facts, and apparently only slightly more people with the critical thinking ability to determine that the destruction story is bullshit.

I have an interesting discovery to share.

I recently ordered some pieces (pic related; I haven't washed them yet so apologies for the grody plate). What's interesting is that the 4L lightsaber blades are trans-bright green, not trans-neon green. Disappointingly, the trans-medium blue head is not fluorescent. A fluorescent trans-medium blue popsicle is next to it for comparison.

We are slowly but surely building up a knowledge of which pieces glow under blacklight.

Want. Why isn't this an official thing?
>>
>>5425093
Because the chinese can take the risk. They dont have shareholders and focus groups to answer to. Not only that, but this shit is more than likely made in a legit lego factory (if there are any in the eastern lands). Its the same shit they do when they make all those knock off "apple" chargers and shit that sells on deal extreme. They use the same factory, same parts and materials, same machines etc. Hell, a lot of them even have the damned logos on them. Its part of the deal when you move your manufacturing to places like china. Its not on the books, but everyone knows its going on.

Does this mean that the game has a finite lifespan, and support stops after the Midway Arcade guy comes out, or is Lego just testing the waters? I kinda feel ripped off now, but then again, $40 for bricks and shits ain't that bad of a deal.

does anyone here have a Kramm nearby or can look at theirs?
i just took apart my constructors to build an alt mixels max, and Kramms eye with a construction helmet on it has a wear line on it, despite being pretty fucking new, and me rarely if ever moving the hat off of it

any idea of if it is just a minor factory misprint, or is his hat actually wearing off the black print that quick
its right at the beginning of the curve where the eye is printed, which is pretty close to where the hat lies

look at the ultra agents fist tank for an example, they look pretty good when the color matches

and possibly changing the arms to http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=3612&idColor=11#T=C&C=11 for more mobility

A-at least this Gargoyle is pretty cool I guess.
>>
>>5425396
to my knowledge, there are multiple sets of bump codes now
so while they would still theoretically work, theres say 5 different codes for just flyguy now
iv spent a few hours feeling up 14 in store because i worked at one, and this wave was surprisingly easy
you know, once you got the hang of it

unlike other waves, each fig had a pretty good "this cant be any other minifig"
look for the spider bitches slope, and the plants hat PLUS his whips. you can easily confuse the plant for bigfoot, or either of the ghost characters. the female has hair though, the male's chain jingles when you shake the bag, and bigfoot has the camera

As far as it seems you wrote an instant message that you wanted a quote.
Best is to contact bricklink about it and or try the "problem resolution"

And fucked you are? Maybe you just get your account deleted.
You dont have to pay. Since they ship it after you paid.

I even dont know if you can delete an account. If you delete it, the seller might not report you and you just make a new account.
The chance is small that he find your new account and can report you for scam.

But i would try to solve the problem with bricklink besides contacting the seller.

They're Grey Knights terminators.
Those aren't ladders, but rather loincloths/banners/inscriptions to ward off daemons or to acquire the Emperor's blessing.

That said, being one of the guys who builds waifus I'd say that everyone being into them is definitely an overstatement. However, I'll give reverse-engineering one a shot. It seems like the leg articulation is really limited, though, and at the same time it seems like many of the important parts are quite clearly visible in the pictures you've posted. If you were to try reverse engineering one yourself or at least building something very similar it probably wouldn't be too hard a job.
