Can someone explain to me why these X-Plus vinyl chew toys cost around $200-$300 each? I mean they're only twelve inches tall and have no articulation, so why would I get these instead of an S.H.MonsterArts? Let me guess it's because they're so accurate and detailed, you guys are getting scammed!

>In microeconomics, supply and demand is an economic model of price determination in a market. It concludes that in a competitive market, the unit price for a particular good, or other traded item such as labor or liquid financial assets, will vary until it settles at a point where the quantity demanded (at the current price) will equal the quantity supplied (at the current price), resulting in an economic equilibrium for price and quantity transacted.

The '54 isn't that much. The MSRP is $160 (luckily, I got it for $120).
I have no idea how they justify the obscene cost of these things but they are damn fine. I'd prefer a little more heft but the sculpts are phenomenal.
