This. I want an actually good Samurai commander along the lines of what was talked about a few threads ago. Kentaro would be sweet with an extra color or two. It's too bad that one of the best samurai is green (as well as being the only green samurai).

Depends on what your endgame is. My Feldon deck is a midrange aggro deck, and while I run things that can kill feldon, it's rarely an issue. Nim Deathmantle is a champ for keeping him alive, and if you're feeling crazy, eldrazi monument will win you games. Really, you shouldn't cast feldon unless you have something like Urabrask out with enough mana to tap him the turn he comes in, or if your opponent is tapped out, because everyone knows his schtick.

Now, if you want secret tech, run this. The first time you use it people will be confused. The second time you use it, they shit their pants.

It's been a while since I last played, my Gisa deck got dismantled for various reasons and I recently got G&G... how do they compare? What are the main differences and common points betwen them? And most important, which one if more fun to play with, and against?

If that's the case why don't we get functional reprints of reserve list cards with different stats?

Just reprint a new enchantment or some creature that's word-for-word a copy of something like Copy Artifact but just make it cost 4 mana or something.

Literally the only thing that makes Arahbo scary is Lost Leonen. Everything else that Arahbo does is easy to counter or disrupt. Perfect hand you have unblockable lethal infect swinging in turn 3. Even then that's perfect hand and literally any creature removal stops it dead in its tracks.

Great cards. Too bad I'll likely never have a doubling season unless a reprint actually drops the price in the future. Privileged Position needs to go in ASAP tho. I've played with growing ranks in the past and I've found it to have too little payoff now that I focus more on 1/1s and not giant worms as much. Mirari's Wake is also very nice. Last reprint of Doubling Season was MM 13. That was 4 years ago. Considering it's value and the constant hype around it we might see it in the M 25 set as one of the green mythics. Considering how hype Iconic Masters turned out to be I wouldn't be surprised to see Doubling in 25.

Repository is ridiculously underrated in my opinion. If you're running any kind of competent aggro with green, it's a good way to just start vomiting value onto the board. In a token deck it's on another level entirely.

Why wouldn't they?

From a Limit Format argument you get Doubling Season plus any walker with a halfway decent ulti and you've got a hard to beat deck. Why not limit that kind of power to a double mythic pull?

From a collector/investor stand point it's a $60 card. Putting it at mythic print numbers will limit the hit to the second hand market. There will be bitching from the bean counters if it's at regular rare.

From a power level how is being about to activate most walker ultimates on priority not mythic level?

There'd be grumbling too, bumping up from basic rare to mythic, but there isn't much of an argument to keep it at rare other than the precedent of Modern Masters 13.

If you draw it early or are getting mana screwed, Frontier Siege makes for amazing ramp. Never undervalue having nine mana on Turn 5. If you get it once things are rolling though, you play it for removal. Its versatility is its strongest aspect. All honesty though, I typically get it for the ramp.

The banlist for this format makes no sense. Yawg Bargain is banned yet Necros allowed. Necro turn 3 for 25 is game, they have all the combo pieces or tutors necessary to get them plus fast mana to play them next turn or at the latest the turn after. Im not saying ban Necro but why does it get the pass but not Bargain? Just due to a slightly different power level thats near negligible

Note that 25 is just that a number here. Even Necro for Ten is absurdly good. You just rocketed ahead of everyone in card advantage. Later in the game with a Reliquary Tower out it becomes backbreaking to just Necro for 15 or something, it accelerates you towards winning either through sheer card advantage and having answers to everything or just through comboing next turn because you inevitably drew all your pieces or have the tutors in hand to get the missing one.

Quick question from a game I was playing last night
Does reef worm and all of its subsequent tokens die during Wrath of God?
Our thinking was that since the tokens are created when it dies the wrath would still going as they trigger.
Or does the Reef Worm just die and create the token?

I have an Adriana deck. Let me put it in terms that would fit the city guard theme.

The trick is to make a huge personal token army to declare a raid on every oppoenent. You're just "cleaning" the streets of their influences.

>Include soldiers, humans, cats, goblins, spirits, kors, etc. Any token who's conscripted into the crime watch.(WSZ,Decree of justice, nomad's assembly, chancellor of the forge )
