/tg/ you gotta help me, one of my players wants to play as a rat in our pathfinder game, and has come up with a ridiculous RAW mess involving baleful polymorph to do so.
I feel like tiny PCs might be a bit of a balance issue but I also don't wanna stomp all over the idea. I wish Paizo had written Baleful Polymorph different.

I don't see what the issue is. Let him make a rat, and let him play as a rat. If he wants to get butthurt that he can't do all the stuff a normal PC would be able to do, because he's a rat, that's his problem and a learning experience.

Explain the problems he's going to encounter as a rat and then if he still insist on being one let him as long as it doesn't mess with the type of game you want to run
