Playing a 3.5 game and I'm wondering if multiclassing as

Barbarian for just enough to get Pounce is decent. Anything past that is godawful compared to more druid.

Very bad idea. Spells are the best ability in the game and any multiclassing that causes you to lose spellcasting levels is a bad trade. Plus, druids have other great abilities like wildshape and animal companion that will be falling behind. And if you were going to multiclass a druid anyway, barbarian would be one of the worse options because you can't even cast spells while raging.

Or you could just wildshape into something with pounce and keep a level of spells.

It's not good, but it's still better than straight not-caster.
And +4 str/con plus buffs plus wildshape is pretty sickening.
