has it? to a degree, yes. it still has the oppression and rejection of innovation, creativity and art as the death of the human soul, but now it REALLY pushes for the "kill everything that's different from us" and "mistrust those on your side if they disagree with you even slightly" aspects.

Not really. Libertarianism is simply governance that emphasises freedom over all other things so in other words, no governance at all.

The imperium is hyper libertarian and progressive except for the brutal police state, extreme human nationalism and theocracy.
It doesn't fit well in the modern left/right divide, it's both more progressive and incredibly authoritarian compared to modern societies.
