How would you rate the hobbit as a rpg campaign? (The Book, not the movies)

I need a system first.
Really really really really fucking fun.
A bit weak in letting all the players do stuff tho.

Rogue Trader
>>55210245
This. But as with 99% of these threads, I'm sure it's thinly veiled shitposting
>>55210245
>DMPC one-shots main villain while PCs are bickering over loot
>fun
You have weird ideas of fun.
>>55210269
>>55210197
Nobody in their right mind takes game with over a dozen PCs.

>A bit weak in letting all the players do stuff tho.
You need to read posts before you respond.
>>55210315
This is not "A bit weak in letting all the players do stuff tho". This is almost "you ignored the lich"-tier fuck you to players.
>>55210282
Then live the /tg/ legacy.
There nothing but what we post in this thread. So let us post good.
>>55210346
Good boy, you went back and read it.
>>55210304
I assumed that they had a lot of players with irregular schedules so no more than a couple could make it at any time.
>>55210371
Stop projecting.
>>55210304
Current Savage Worlds game I'm in has 70+1 GMPC, ask me anything.
>>55210454
I'm torn between HOW? and WHY?
>>55210480
>HOW?
Well the GM "controls" the AI that operates our ship, but mostly just provides support and takes us where we tell it to.
There are five other players, we all control 10 characters between us, most of whom are Mooks we each made.
It's a military campaign, lots of ship-ship and tactical combat. We've got one light weight and one heavy weight mech, two multi-role fighters, a couple of tanks, and four fire teams. There's also a VTOL drop ship.

They are called hirelings in your standard D&D Basic campaign. That said they act more as meatshields than anything.
>>55210621
Sorry, SIX other players, not five.
>>55210282
/tg/ itself is mostly just sithposting and baiting
>>55210667
I know. It makes me sad sometimes. There's some really creative people on here that get chased off or poisoned by the endless bullshit on here.
>Oh well, I guess I'll go back to calling everyone faggots and greentexting fake game night stories
>>55210667
>sithposting
It's /tg/ then
>>55213774
Have you tried spinning?
