Jesus, I just realized how overpowered Lotan Princess' Shimmer Shell is. Literally every renounce effect from Gen 2 and Gen 2 exp is voided if you have that. I didn't pay her much mind after her redesign, but after carefully reading all the new text, it's evident that Lotan is by far one of the most useful ally going in to gen 2.

It specifically says "repels anything that would change your body." This wouldn't exactly change things like becoming a sex slave to your Princesses, being seen as an illegitimate ruler, wanting to bite/be bitten, etc. since those aren't actually changes to your body but to your character or position in the eyes of others. So, yeah, it blocks transformations, but a lot of Renounce effects aren't exactly transformations.

Yeah, I sort of glossed over most renounce effects. However, wanting to bite and be bitten should fall under the shell's range; it's changing your behavior, which is a part of yourself. Still, the renounce effects I seemingly always end up with (fuck gen 2, not enough good choices) are negated since they're all negative physical effects.

Rereading Gen 3, I noticed something that I think might not be so clear unless I'm just dumb. Friar Courtier boosts a person's lust to max, granting you their lust gift. Does this mean rescuing a princess with 5 points in lust automatically gets you their lust bonus on the spot?

As of yet, she is currently without stats. One day I just decided I wanted to get some practice in the Towergirls style by sketching out a character or two based on an idea that I helped discussed elsewhere. I found myself sketching out more and more characters either by request or my own fancy, and before I knew it I had worked out more than enough for a chart all their own. So far I've managed to work out the general concept, but there's a lot that still needs to be hashed out.

It doesn't help that I'd also like to make a set of Companion characters for this idea.

I think you mean Chill Man; Frost Man is a Mega Man 8 Robot Master. But anyway, the current selection is a combination of characters I did by request and those I personally chose for one reason or another. What I was trying to go for most of all in the roster was to have some diversification in personality and in the "elements" associated with each Robot Master while avoiding overrepresentation for any one particular title. There were two reasons I chose Chill Man over Sheep Man. The first was I already had a decent representation of electric-type Robot Masters through Terra, who I believe to be the best candidate from the GameBoy series, and Clown Man, whom I had done by request. The second was that, as far as I could tell, Sheep Man had been given little characterization in comparison to Chill Man. Pump Man made it in mostly because of the ridiculous implications they had for Towergirls.

Seriously, though, Mega Man 10's lack of inspiration really showed in its entirety.

It's just a personal pet peeve, but there's a few anatomical issues I spot.

I actually do have a sketch of an attempt at Frost Man I did by request, but in the end I felt it wasn't satisfactory and decided I'll end up redoing it sometime soon. It was the arms and upper body that I messed up on. Trying to keep things somewhat proportional to how they were canonically ended up with goofy-looking arms and an unflattering torso.

I thought it would be interesting to go through the Princesses one by one. Main gens first and then however far we can get into Exp Gens.

Post your favorite art of the Princess, discuss pros/cons of design, show off how you use the Princess in your builds, etc.

Kobold Princess is one of the faces of Towergirls, showing up even before Human Princess in the list. If you want a reliably lovey girl, then Kobold is one you can not go wrong with.

As far as builds go, her Red Candle is good in conjunction with immortality items to share immortality with all your Princesses. Gemstone plug could creatively be used as an immovable rod in some interpretations. Lastly, the Warm Ore is an item I do not see used much by others but it is a useful item for elemental / fire builds.

I'm been working on the prototype and a basic version of the game is taking shape.

I found some chibi versions of the characters made by a guy called Gats and I'm using them as placeholders for the characters (hopefully he'll let me use them for the full game because they're really well made), I don't have a knight sprite so I'm using the knight princess as a placeholder.

Yea, that's no-one special just the creator of Towergirls.

But this actually seems like a good use for these sprites, they were just wasting away otherwise.
And, while I'm not a game designer, I can suggest a few things; (Sorry if i overstep any boundaries/the boundaries of reality)

-The basic story is that 4 knights (Ser, KP, the other two are up for debate but Border and Bro seem like good fits) Set out on a quest to rescue all the princesses kidnapped by the various dragons and also Wyvern so she doesn't feel left out.

-Unlockable characters could be certain princesses that you rescue, Buyable Mercs, Training some chars/princesses, or Doing something before or after meeting a char, like between churches where you meet P'orc Preist, Kill less then 5 P'orcs and he'll join with you.

-The Tutoriel stage would be ser rescuing knight, or knight breaking out and rescuing ser, depending on which one the player chooses.

-Each dragon would require something extreme to not have to kill them, like giving DP1 a hoard of junk you've collected to eat, or going for wyvern last, to make her feel like the biggest, baddest dragon of them all.

-This one's probably a far cry, but campfire scenes to learn more about the characters, and/or Fire emblem styled Supports would do a lot to endear us to the characters and their struggles. Maybe even help shape the lands, as there will likely never be this many princesses in one location ever again.

Wither you take any of my suggestions or not, I wish you the best of luck, and would be glad to help ya play and bug test this~
