There is absolutely nothing that indicates the restriction is a copyable part of the ability, rather than an effect that applies specifically to the abilites granted by the static ability the restriction is part of. Quicksilver should either do absolutely nothing for him or let him go infinite.
However I think it's still very worth to run it just so you can drop it and copy Mairsil for the infinite abilities, not to mention Mairsil still being able to target other creatures with it.

I caused the first two quite a few times, but the last one is a special story that me and my no longer dingus casul buddy still laugh about. That misplay ended with a straight up lockout for three players.

So I looked at one of those StarCityGames Heavily Played Commander packs (The black one) and decided to price it out. For $75 it seems like you're getting about $120 worth of stuff. The only real money cards are Attrition, Diabolic Intent, Grave Pact, No Mercy, Ob Nix, The Fallen, and Wound Reflection.

Doesn't really seem worth it. to be honest.

The thing with those packs is that you're getting cards that most people already have a ton of. You get some good stuff but you're better off just buying the singles you need of TCGplayer like normal. Its like buying a commander precon just for the commander, just not worth it.

Here is my proposed ban list for the format to make it more fair and allow competitive EDH to flourish.

1. All mana ramp

2. All land destruction

3. All kill spells

4. All cards involved in infinite combos

5. The color green

6. All uncommons, rares, and mythic rares

Entirely for ramp. The deck goes into overdrive as soon as you can start casting guys from hand, plus using mayael. She easy enough to turn into a creature (mayael, parameter, any 3 green or 3 white idiot) and she pulls lands out of the deck so mayael activations are more likely to hit. She's been surprisingly powerful desu

I'd move some of your Sorcery based ramp to creature based ramp, stuff like Druid of the Anima or Sylvan Caryatid. Is Purphoros really worth it in the deck, as it doesn't seem like his damage Trigger will go off all that often, and you are already playing fatties. I really like Stonehoof Chieftan and Iroas, God of Victory, as they make attacks that would not be profitable into the ability to break creature stalls or straight up profitable.

I'd also put in one non-damage based boardwipe, Wrath of God or something. I also like Seasons Past as it can give you a second wind so to speak or help you recover from a Boardwipe.

Necrotic Ooze is one of those cards that is good in almost any Mono-B or Bx deck simply because, even if you're not using it to combo, it can generate some decent value.

I like the sorcery ramps only for the ability to pull lands out of the deck. I'd be more inclined to play rocks over mana dorks just because they dodge wraths. That being said, purphoros is probably the weakest card in the deck and I think I only like holding onto it for the synergy with avenger. Iroas or stonehoof are probably both stronger.

Guru Duals are kinda cool. Pony P9 (well, p10) is horrifying. Not because of anything to do with bronies (I'm not one but I can't bring myself to hate the show over them either. Yeah, with my Prossh deck. Sac outlets, tons of tokens, draw triggers, discard triggers, etc. Every time I sacrificed a creature everyone would have to sacrifice one of their own, I'd draw cards, they'd discard cards, they'd take damage, they'd take more damage, I'd gain life for damage taken, they'd lose life for my life gained, etc. It was pretty nuts.

Is Kokusho the Evening Star good as Commander? Didnt he used to be banned? Im assuming you just sac and reanimate him again and again but im not sure theres that many reanimation spells

kokusho is one of the stronger commanders in monoblack, assuming no one plays rest in peace against you

and yeah, you just reanimate him over and over while casting creature-based black goodstuff to keep yourself safe. you can also clear the board whenever you feel like it since kokusho prefers being dead anyway. there's a billion good reanimation cards in monoblack, so don't worry about that

I've been running him ever since he got unbanned, and there are probably better choices, but Kokusho is definitely solid, especially if you run with a larger group. Run it exactly how you'd expect, really, spam sac and reanimate until everyone is dead and you have all the life.

What would you call a deck that doesn't have a specific wincon? It isn't going for a combo and not specifically general damage. It has some beaters but it isn't a deck dedicated to smashing face with huge creatures. Some removal but not control... What are these decks and are they any fun? I feel like they would either be really fun due to varying games or they'd be shit as they had no real focus.

I killed Mimeoplasm first because he has probably the most answers to the combo in his deck and such. Aurelia was attacking Nissa player fast and early. Even if Aurelia hadnt insurrectioned the entire board I would have killed him anyways on his upkeep. Basically he was at 28 on my turn I drained him to 18, on Aurelias turn I would have drained him to 8 had he not Insurrectioned and then on Nissa players upkeep once the Helix Pinnacle trigger goes on the stack I drain him to 0 and he loses. I flat out told this to his face and you could see the anger in his eyes that he knew he was going to lose despite the Helix Pinnacle in play.

Quick rulings question, if someone were to play jokulhaups and another person had an indestructible creature with a bunch of artifacts equip to it, would the artifacts still be destroyed? Or in general can artifacts be destroyed by board wipes if they are equip to a creature?

Pretty much, but I still use Dramatic Reversal for the hell of it. My Wizards tend to have extra abilities from Azami/Patron Wizard/Sigil Tracer so draining someone with Inalla, casting Dramatic Reversal, and then having several flexible WIzards ready to go again is a really nice option for just 2 measly mana.

I am building a group fight deck - a deck that forces all the pillowfort, stax, group hug decks to actually do something and fight each other. My playgroup's deck (including my own) are pretty slow, so I just want to shake up things.

My Arcum Dagsson deck made about a dozen copies of Knowledge Pool with Prototype Portal by means of Unwinding Clock because I out-counterspelled the board and then the game lasted about 7+ hours before everyone scooped and I won be default. I could have won with fat creatures or Nev's disk combos, but I like playing with my food too much.

Lesson of the game? You can't wait out a man who has nothing to look forward to.

You're correct about this, but you're missing the point. You don't use Sundial to skip your end step, you wait until the delayed trigger is put onto the stack, and then end the turn. The triggered ability will be exiled, but since it did fire off, it won't trigger again.
