Hi /tg/, I desperately need your help.
I have a day where I get to decide what two friends and myself do for around 8 hours and I want to introduce them to the joys of imagination. I've done some dnd as a player, friend 1 is up for damn near anything where he can dickishly reinterpret rules, and friend 2 is a huge action movie buff.
What's a game I can play with relatively little setup that would make things fun for me and friend 1 but also give friend 2 a chance to really get into character as a badass who has to think a *little bit* to not die? I want friend 2 to walk away after 5-7 hours of this feeling awesome and excited to play again.
Would prefer a game with relatively few rules and no monetary investment, and I would be eternally grateful if you provided a game AND an initial plot/story to overcome.
I will come back in a week or few with a similar post if you don't have a full idea now, but I'd really appreciate ideas now.

I'm on mobile so I can't upload the pdf, but I recommend WaRP. Very rules lite, free and works well with action in my experience. It doesn't come with an adventure though

Thanks, looking into this now!

Shit, infection and collision both sound promising for my friends, thanks!

No problem, comrade! I forgot about the adventures (since they'e not free iirc).
WaRP is my go-to system. I love the simplicity of damage and the focus on characters
