There is a difference between boldness and stupidity. We've had a thread recently, where a new DM who had no idea about anything about 5e had to be explained, again and again, that he shouldn't let players use anything from dandwiki, and just didn't seem to understand what we are saying.

I played dnd 6 years before running and we used homebrew stuff. If you have played it before and seen what needed fixing, do you have to suffer through a campaign before fixing it?
