I guess, looking back, the Drowtales forums were an early haven for the SJW/tumblrina crowd. They wanted to live in a bubble of fanfiction and matriarchy without the encroachment of differing perspectives. Once other people got interested in the setting material (and, believe me, most of us actually wanted to RP there - we weren't doing anything disruptive to the setting but rather having our own RP) they had to close it down because they couldn't handle someone having wrongfun and making them look evil by giving their victims a human face.

I wish the humans were more Space WW1, than Mass Effect, like these castles of steel in void. Plus moustaches.
