So who got any interesting ideas for a post apocalyptic campaign on d&d with some weird tech to compensate for the fact wizards are removed?
Other then the obvious tribal warfored and orc arabs.

You're gonna have to give us a little more to go on here, OP. Why are there no wizards? Are other types of magic verboten, too?

OP here
Well wizards need special materials to make spellbooks - however last supply of them has ran out 100 of years ago, making spell book creation impossible, partly leading to current ruined world state.
As for other types - druids can still appear as before, they just need some calm corner of nature
Clerics exist too, however rarely due to the fact gods are the weakneed state (due to lack of worshipers)
And few ancient golem shards started granting metalurgy knowledge to random races, leading to rise of kobolds that learned to make engines powered by gas from rotting bodies, gnolls that while scavenger, managed to create steam cars and small airships and few other races have some sort of tech
Also some races are extinct - such as gnomes and halflings, due to lack of survival skills, while others are at weakened state - for example human nubers dwindled quite a bit
