Hey /tg/. I could use some advice.
Looking for a good tabletop game for a slightly larger group (5-7 players) to use on a play-by-post forum.
Theming/setting something like the SCP Foundation, X Files, Fringe and other stuff that's generally related to conspiracies and the paranormal. Basically, I'm looking for "/x/: The Tabletop Game".
Bonus points if it's diceless and has simplified combat. Looking for less crunch and more RP.
Thanks.

Delta Green is the go-to for government agents patrolling alien coverups, but it's more rules-medium.
Hang on and I will try to dig up some rules-light games for you.
Homebrew. Just have players roll XdY each turn with an action corresponding to each die. Make player sheets with stats that are used largely for comparison to enemy stat blocks or against each other for comparative ability. Each turn players will take actions that forward their characters in one way or another.

Yeah, I've just run across Delta Green (I'm trolling through DriveThruRPG right now but haven't found anything that really fits exactly).

I was also thinking about grabbing some rules-lite or even one-pager and then building it up into a custom system, but I wanted to see if there's anything out there that already has the work done for me.

Okay OP, I have some games for you. First up is The Esoterrorists. It's aimed at the style of game you're looking for, and uses the GUMSHOE system, which some people on /tg/ like and some people on /tg/ hate.

44 is a game where you play humans attempting to survive a secret robotic takeover in a post-WW2 setting, but might possibly be adapted for your use or at least give you some inspiration.

Small Towns is a /tg/ homebrew created by a fa/tg/uy a few years ago who wanted to make a game that runs like an X-Files episode.

Too big for 4chan but this is the official RPG of The Laundry Files.

Never read the books, never played the system, can't comment.

Cool, thanks. I'll definitely give these a read.
Does anyone have the official Stalker tabletop?
I would just buy it from DTRPG but their site is broken or some shit. I can't even create an account.

None of you faggots recommended Unknown Armies to OP? Seriously? Unknown Armies is "/x/ the RPG only not filled with 500 "how can I summon a flat earth succubus" threads"

OP wanted a good game.
