I had it in a setting once in which the party encountered a village of weird shamans, druids, and witches. These people were trying to get closer to nature by literally transforming parts of themselves into animals; the more animal-like they were the better. This was their way to enlightenment in their eyes. Their leader was literally a goat that was supposedly once a man (if you have ever seen that PETA episode of South Park it was pretty much that). Overall, it was weird as fuck for the party which was the point and they should have seen that the fucking asshole snake-human-mofo was going to backstab them all.
