For fantasy, probably the way to go, that or Blackmore's Night type folk rock. Cyberpunk, the poster below with the synthwave is onto something, but gangsta rap and punk can apply at times. White Wolf type horror shit, gotta go to the goth rock classics, lot of Bauhaus and Sisters of Mercy, maybe a little Concrete Blonde or the Wake, etc.

Not sure what you'd do for space opera, though. That's probably the biggest remaining genre outside of those.
