Honestly, finding images turned into the bane of my existence. Drained my will to live. Probably about 75% of the time spent on this CYOA was finding relevant images. 50% on the companions portraits alone. Didn't help that I used a landscape shaped box. Don't understand why I did that.

Basically I get selected from among the populous (along with like 100 other dudes), and we are paid to be "gods" in a medival type setting. Minor gods with not a lot of power, but in the fantasy I find a cute guy or something or an ambitious one, and we team up to influence a king of a small nation, and with our guidance his nation grows bigger and more start worshipping us and we gain power.

Also, when you go to install it you double click on the exe file and fully expect the standard install screen, which tells you the licensing agreement and gives you options during installation, like where the fuck you're even installing it to, how much space it's gonna take up, or providing a list of what's being installed so you can add or remove from it as you deem appropriate. Okay! So for the second CYOA, every time I post it people mention how easily Fate'a Yarn can be abused. Accidentally made it overpowered, which is kind of funny, as there was actually gonna be a plot kind of going on behind the scenes about the girl giving these powers being far more powerful than she should be, even for what she is. Unfortunately, I was trying to show that through all of the "takes two slots" powers, so Fate's Yarn wasn't clever, it was an accident.

Planning on having the next step be the girl giving you a parting gift, as she won't really need any help or need to give out any more powers, but wants to thank you for your help. It'll just be a "pick one (or two?) Cliche powers (like pocket dimension, or immortality)" and that honestly sounds kind of dull for the whole series. Torn because I can't really think of anything else to have this final chapter be about before we move onto the whole "you becoming like her" arc, because the creative minor powers really don't make a lot of sense once she's become as powerful as she'll be by the end.

Well, there's going to be one where she helps you ascend into something like her after your death (sort of an alternate narrator on the similar you taking the mystery box in the third cyoa), but until then, she kind of needs to get to work doing god-like stuff, so you won't be seeing her much at all after that (I'll certainly add in a hang out option though as one of the things you can buy).

Actually, now that you got me thinking about it, I think I know just how to do the parting gifts cyoa. Was torn over having a 'take this and only this' mystery box being the ascension thing, which rubbed me the wrong way as it meant that you'd have to take only that to play the next cyoa, and at that point there's no reason for the cyoa to exist at all, but instead I think I'll do it so you have four points, and that choice costs two of them, so you can have two gifts for the rest of your mortal life, then be a god-like being, or have four gifts.

Probably also include an immortality option, for those who don't want to die but don't want to have the responsibilities of god-hood either.

As for blogposting stuff. Had a panic attack, quit job, ran out of money, didn't renew my lease. Now on medicine, going to therapy, moved in with my mom, trying to find a new job, and working on general be motivated to live life and accomplish goals stuff.

The physics of ion drives don't really allow for high thrust unless you've got an utterly ridiculous amount of charge on your particles.
