Get a piece of plywood that's about that long and swing it around. No, it won't be the same, but it'll give you a pretty good idea how clumsy it'd be.

If the blade is that long, its probably gotta be brittle as fuck, if the entire sword is that long its not unreasonable at all. In fact seems pretty cool, I always liked big anti cavalry swords.
