What really turns me on about Feldon is that he doesn't exile the creature in the graveyard. Meaning you can spam the same triggers of the same card turn after turn. What are your pet peeves in EDH?

Mine is when an opponent starts asking people to finish him off already as soon as he starts to be in a losing position. They'll urge you to play faster and just kill them, swearing they got nothing, so it can be done with.

Nigger if you really have nothing and you're dead on board, just fucking concede. I won't walk blindly into a comeuppance or some shit, so you sit back while I figure out if I can kill you without overextending and while playing around the interaction spells you're most likely to have.

You are capable of making a decision with a degree of randomness that, while imperfect, is more than adequate for the purposes of choosing who to attack in a game of EDH. Why is distortion better than butcher? The card draw is only more valuable if you have 2 or less cards in hand and you have to have a card with the same cmc to counter.

Typically you'll have dumped your hand ramping up to 10+ mana. If you still have 3+ cards in hand even after all that, just play em first, then cast Kozilek for a fresh hand.

Blaxos is hard to build around, honestly. I lurk these threads and he's my finest tuned commander deck, and I can say he's probably weaker than the rest of not only the experience counter generals, but also the weakest of black white.

That being said if you build it like Orzhov prison you can just sit back while no one focuses you, build experience counters and then suddenly shit out thirty 10/10 tokens. So I do that.

Butcher is still very comparable though and it's not clear which is better but I prefer Distortion for being flashier and the counter ability is more unique and interesting than Annihilator 4.

When a player casts a spell from their hand, Possibility Storm triggers, they exile the spell, reveal until they find a target, aren't given a choice, and put it on the bottom of their deck. If they cast a spell from anywhere else, such as Flashback, it resolves, but then they can't do anything else because of Rule of Law.

Big motherfuckers with trample that can't be countered and set off every one of green's draw enchantments. Maelstrom is strong, but he's got a lot more variance to him and can whiff hard if you don't draw into the right scry pieces. Surrak is far more consistent and lets you get away with ramp shells, especially a lot of the bigger mana dorks. Mix in Lifecrafter's Bestiary and Vizier of the Menagerie if you want some of what Maelstrom does as well.

No Carnifex Demon, so that makes Hapatra unlikely. Not anywhere near enough artifacts for Glissa. No Lord of Extinction hurts the chance of it being Jarad. Going all the way up to 9 cost creatures feels out of place for Skullbriar.

It could just be Meren, but having so many CMC 1 cards seems telling. I'm going to guess Rhys, assuming those are a bunch of Elves.

Had a friendly little "tourney" tonight. I ended up getting first with my Mina and Denn deck (which it's "real" Commander is Omnath Locus of Rage/Avenger of Zendikar). We had two pods of 4, with the top two of each pod forming a new pod for a second game, and the bottom two forming a new pod as well.

First game was against Animar, Locust God, and Radha. I had a decent hand, and managed to do quite a bit of work between Impact Tremors and Tunneling Geopede, eventually drawing into Avenger of Zendikar and running over my opponents with Plant Tokens and Archtype of Aggression.

I really shouldn't have won the second game. WUBG parter deck (for colors) that had won his first game with Hermit Druid into Lab Maniac, a very solid Ertai the Corrupted control deck, and the Radha player who came in second to me in the first match. I had to mull down to 5, until I hit a hand with a Mountain and Forest + Exploration and Azusa, so I had a slow start. Fortunately Ertai was focused on keeping Hermit Druid into Lab Maniac from going off, and Radha was just swinging away at Hermit Druid as well. Once Hermit Druid was dead, I baited out Ertai's control and counter spells which let Radha hit him over and over again using an 8/8 pumping other creatures with Dragon Throne of Tarkir to deal damage even while losing creatures to No Mercy.
Ertai went down, and with a well timed top deck of Seasons Past I was able to get my removal back to stall Radha long enough to get Avenger of Zendikar out and cast Decimator of Provinces to seal the win.

Prize was two Oath of the Gatewatch and two Fallen Empires (lol) Booster packs. Nothing too great, just a Chandra Flamecaller, but I had a ton of fun and played against people I don't normally play with so totally worth it.

It's not that great of an idea. You have only 3 cards that benefit from experience counters and they also need to be on the field for the counters to do anything, which is already pretty bad for the strategy, not to mention that both Blaxos and Ezuri need a strategy built for them. Afterall, Daxos needs a bunch of enchantments and even then he's a mediocre token generator. Meren is the only one that fits easily in any creature strategy.
Still, the problems you're going to have are to get the experience legends to do anything or getting the first counter or getting them to stick.

Well, that's a bit of the challenge. The deck lends itself to being grindy, and I think I can do it fairly well with access to all the tutors and recursion colors in magic, not to mention the strength of Atraxa herself. The best part is how much of a lightning rod Atraxa is - cast her first, and you're bound to easily resolve and stick any of the other 3.
Anthem enchantments are fantastic so I see no issue playing Blaxos, honestly. I think the entire deck can play like a hatebears + buffs setup that will be quite potent.

Bear, Boar, Snake and Spider Umbra all provide Totem armor and will eat a board wipe and discourage kill spells. Akromas Memorial provides good protection with haste and buffs, and Aestheticism lets you regenerate multiple creatures with mana open. Those are awesome ideas, I think the 7 drop card might be a bit tough unless I can really get the ramp going, but the Umbras seem very useful and are pretty cheap, and Would if New Ohyrexia seems very cool, though again depends heavily on me being able to get mana out.
