Makes sense to me that any surviving p'orcs would've tried to flee to the lands of their northern cousins. They're supposed to be functionally extinct, though (there's at least the friar courtier left, maybe others, but too few to rebuild their civilization).
How long ago did the p'orc genocide (aka. the great BBQ party) happen, anyway? If it was a long time ago, survivors might've interbred with the boar'c to the point that their descendants can no longer be distinguished (actual pigs turn into wild boars in just a few generations). But on the other hand, since the p'orc friar is still alive, they probably only got wiped out recently. I have a feeling that the knight-queen who Gats mentioned killing them off was the mother of Human and Knight Princesses, with both princesses inheriting different traits of their mother.

It was due to a mix of her design not being too appealing and her card being a bit dull. Hooded was given a lot more praise, and won by a good margin. I'm one of those who was for Hooded, so I'm a bit biased.

WHAT IF:

The actual creature who eat all the P'Orcs was Dragon Princess 1 and not tha Hoomie git?
Let's say that centuries ago DP1 was smaller and thinnier, but somehow, she flamed some P'Orcs because she got mad, then noticed that they have a delicious smell, and started to eat them (the Friar Cortier also extabilish that they semml delicious if fried).
What if she started to eat them too much that she became addicted and caused the entire species to get extinct, while becoming a little more fattier every time, untill becoming how she is now. She then could have developed a sort of food obsession/disorder or just discovered that she loves eating, as is also more or less stated, she likes also to eat her hoard or else.

The fact she has also become more chubby/thicc/busty is also explained in the human Princess dowry, the P'Orc bone that increases ass/boobs, so imagine a dragon eating an entire species away, it also makes sense for her actual form.

Maybe she was jealous to beign little and thin or she just discovered that Dragons develop every time a sort of obsession for something.

So the only survivors are the Boars in the north because:
1) they taste different (if you eat pig and boar you notice the difference)
2) they live in a cold enviroment, and since we suppose she based on Fire, she does not like cold.

Aye, I feel you there. I really like Duke's game's art style and over all feel more. It's probably mainly due to them building the game from scratch, while Kingdom Conquest used RPGmaker to get them a head start on game mechanics and give them more time for art. Plus sex sells. Though I'm afraid KC's starting to suffer from too many promises/ feature-bloat. I did do a lot on KC's wiki when it was first starting out, but I want to support Duke's game when its got a little more ground under its feet.

The multi-layered kingdom management, army strategy, and RPG battles are really cool to me, even if they are a bit clunky atm. I just think it needs a bit (lot) more polish to its GUI and a bit more content and It'd be good to go. I've still got faith in them though, since Duke's team has actually managed to get shit done in the past; and when I asked on their blog, they stated that they want to get the core mechanics done first before adding a bunch of the frills.

Bells and whistles will attract people quick and easy, but only something with true substance will make it to the end.

Also tru about Subtitle Pending is made from 0, while Conquest cheats since uses a "solid" core, while the levelling and stuff is very unbalanced, since you can just grind and become OP with 0 effort or just spam cheats.

I loved Subtitle overall art, Conquests just points to have animated sprites and scenes but uses too many artists, is true, especially when he started to use that Artist who drew Kobold, Golem and Fairy who still was only able to actually drew humans and not really monsters.

Still it seems that Towerfag managed to throw money to gats and re-re-redo Arts again and add stuff that few like and others don't.

TL;DR

Subtitle is Slow and Purposeful and will probably get better in time
Conquest is a huge mess that only sells because Porn 'n Fetshes, but the Story, Dilogues and else is quite bad

Friar Courtier's description already implies that the p'orcs are at best critically endangered, so that's been the case since p'orcs were introduced.
I prefer there being more than one left, just scattered and in hiding. That allows for an option of tracking them down and helping to rebuild their species.

She's not my all-time fave, but she's pretty high up there.

What are your guys' favorite gens? Or how would you rank them?

Just going off of Gat's for now:
Gen 1 has two of my absolute favorite princesses (ghost and knight)
Gen 2 is probably my over all favorite gen. It has more princesses in it that appeal to me than the other two combined; and I like the totem/deity bonuses more than dowries or companions.
Gen 3 is probably my least favorite. On the one hand, factionless companions are pretty cool. On the other, I only really liked a couple of the princesses in this gen, compared to the others.

What about the rest of you?

I'll be objective with all of the charts, excluding the unfinished ones.

Gen 1 is without question my favorite, because it started it all.
Gen 2 is a nice continuation, and has plenty of good characters.
Gen 3 is a fun continuation, but the extra rules and cart space are needless bloat in my opinion.
Gen 4 has nice designs, but it's a bit...bland. New mechanics aren't that good.
Gen 5 isn't that good, mainly because no matter what I always end up choosing the same four princesses and skipping everything else.
Gen 1 exp is a fun expansion, and is what I like about Gen 1; quirky and interesting choices. Two of my princesses (Orphan and Book) stayed in the latest update, Secretary got taken off for good reason, and Levia (RIP) totally got a cool makeover. I still liked my freaky abomination though, so I'm half salty.
Gen 2 exp is okay, but there's a lot of princesses I couldn't care less for. My Jabberwock design got put up, so I'm happy there.
Gen 3 exp is okay. I'm totally neutral to it. I do like Rat and Bat though.
Gen 4 exp, though unfinished, is the same as Gen 5 for me.

1 > 1exp > 2 > 2exp > 3 > 4 > 3exp > 5 = 4exp

Well, I was going to complain about the lack of ghost princess on the last few threads, but then I decided to shut it and actually contribute instead. Gaze upon my [s]shitpost[/s] art!

No, they are just those Knights who failed their rescue, and they are a grim reminder that everyone can fail and die.
They are reanimated by the Tower, but they are brainless, like most of the Undeads you find.

Still i'm thinking to add the chance to Unlock different races for the players, like beign a Slime, a Skeleton, a Ghost or a Construct, but i have to balance them.

So far the idea is the following:

Constructs are unable to casts spells and wear armors (because they are armors so they do not need more)
They do not have Health but only Armor Points so they require a tinkerer to be repaired
Constructs have some useful immunities who i guess i counterbalanced by the fact that they can not heal as others
They count Skill who increase health or similar events, as a way they actually improve their body armor.

Slimes a tricky, since they can't cast spells, use armors or weapons but they have some immunities, they can move through others and basically they can increase their health a lot (they become Tanks)

Undeads can not be healed too, have some immunities, but also can be healed with different stuff.

Harpies also need some rules since they do not have arms but they have talons and can fly

All those races can only be unlocked by doing a particular thing

I'd honestly love to see how a player could use those racial abilities to not only fight opponents but also solve puzzles and traverse areas with them. Just imagine someone using their abilities as a slime to crawl through tight gaps and sling their bodies far across gaps, or a construct smashing through walls and being able to lift heavy things with ease.

You forget about the Slime's Core.
Those cores are solid and they can not pass through spaces too tight and if it get broken, the slime dies.

That would be utterly unbalanced.
Players have access to the Awakened Mannequin, who is just a simple golem who can improve his body armor and learn some trics by observing others (aka learning perks or skills like a character normally does).


The first thing i have to keep in mind is how balanced a race is if compared to the others.
If a race is unbalanced, the other players could have less fun or the game becames too easy and then boring.

It's kind of cool and weird how "ocean" focused Gat's Gen 5 is. 8 of 19 princesses are related to the ocean/water.
I think they're are ways to expand the cart if you don't collect extra princesses, but in just Gat's gen 1-3, is there a way to get up to 8 princesses in a single gen? If I ever want to do a "Lord of the Ocean" knight/king, I'll have my work cut out for me on gen 5.
Gen 1: Mermaid
Gen 2: Pirate, Frog(?)
Gen 3: Raider (if you count vikings), Lazulite Beast, Noble Courtier (?)
Gen 4: Coeurl, Unseelie (?, actually a dark fey fairy, but looks like a scallop/seaweed hair)
Gen 5: Selkie, Scylla, Nixie, Kelpie, Naga, Angler, Incirrina, Merrow

Man, when Gats finishes Gen 5, I'd want to see how to unify the ocean kingdoms and rule ~70% of the surface world. Then the hard question comes of who becomes the queen when I am King Poseidon.

It all comes down to how the GM plays it.

Construct could easily bash down normal walls if its built like a tank/modified with heavy duty weapons. We do exist in a world where giants and giant-transformitive items exist as well. Plus there are plenty of ways of balancing that out.
Make it slow, or make it super weak to magic. Especially control magic; Golems are meant to serve others typically, and a sufficiently willful caster could overpower the construct PC and have them turn on the party.

Plus constructs are almost always made out of heavier-than-water materials. If they love bashing down walls so much; let them charge through a wall one time and fall into a river or lake on the other side. Party has to either fish them out and berate them on their carelessness, or golem has to walk their way out.

Woops, also forgot to mention that Golems need to be recharged as well. One of the main negatives on Golem Princess's card.

Instead of needing food or sleep, give them a battery system. I'm thinking like from Inn0cence: Lost Future Quest.

Could have it where the Golem uses up some charge every hour, but if they want to overclock/supercharge themselves, they could expend more battery to do stuff like break down walls.
Becomes a choice of whether to operate for longer at normal proficiency; or go all out, risk damaging your internals, and have less operational hours before needing another charge.

Yes, but the playable race is a Mannequin, not an Iron Golem who is 15 feet tall.

Maybe you should wait and read the rules i've made, so you better understand what i am saying.

Many people confuse my Tabletop with a generic RpG.
While you can do rp with those rules, is actually more a Tabletop Game such as Talisman or else.

Also, as i said, all dowries and gifts and idols have been reworked while trying to maintain the abse concept if possible.
For example Golem's Key only use is to unlock the Awakened Mannequin. Nothing else.

Gen 3 is my personal favorite, the girls it gets right are amazing and I like its gimmicks on what perks you get and the companions were fun.
Gen 1 is the runner up lots of good girls and the dowries made a solid gimmick.

Least Fav: Goblin (despite goblins being one of my fav fantasy races) and Dragon 1

Least Fav: Fairy and Dragon 2

Fav: Generic, but knight. i like a girl that can beat me up. Also, her redesign gave her a cute ponytail~

Fav: Ninja. One of the best designs, great personality, and again, i like a girl who can beat me up.
Worst: Assassin. Like, it wouldn't be so bad if they were added at the same time, but she was added later. Someone should have noticed just how much she stole from ninja and brought her back to the drawing board.

Gen 3:
All Time Fav: Jester. She's just... So cute and dangerous. I love her dark magic, her jokes, her flexibility, and especially her design~

Fav: an easy win for Mantis, though hermit comes in a close second.
Worst: Honestly, this has the opposite problem of Gen 3, as I feel this is the worst gen in terms of princess quality, only, like, 5 are good.
I'll go with Minotuar, purely because Ionk's design for her is SO much better. (Please finish that one when your done with jester)

Gen 5:
Fav: A three way tie between Cactus, Thief and Evil, because god damn, Gen 5 has some good ass princesses~
Worst: Symbyote, mostly for her kinda crap design. Edgy's in second, but ever's making me like her a bit more.

Ehhh, I like bunny-folk fine. Panne and the Taguel in FE Awakening were great, just wish they'd gotten more spot light. There is a reason Hare on my favorites list.

It comes down to personality more than anything for me. Really high lust/ultra kinky princesses in general are a bit of a turn off, I've found through TG. Not to mention incest is just nope. Not a fan of women who'd drink away their issues either, like one of her negatives implies. I can at least respect her dedication to family and making sure her kids would be well off in the future. I've only seen your Rust and Merrow pics so far, so not too much I've noticed from your style so far.
Biggest tale that tips me off though would be your shading/highlight style. Shadows are very well done; highlights are typically very bright and noticeable. Its pretty pronounced in very specific locations.

Personally, its your color pallette, you have quite a dark range you use.

Your designs flucuate through styles i feel, each are fun and exciting. But its those colors in the end.

You probably shouldn't use /trash/. There are significant hurdles to running a quest thread there. It doesn't have usernames or tripcodes and threads tend to expire very quickly compared to other sites or boards (like our own /qst/).

Gatz and Duke just seem to go by anons. Then we got Velgarn who is working on the table top I guess. Eversor, the artist who can really recreate the style of Gatz. Blank, Lambda, Ento, Red, and Ionk(i or L?) who I guess are all artist.

Blank, small question. Because of your chart, many princesses that could've appeared in later charts are taken now, would it still be okey if they would appear in future ones or are they like "4 Islands chart only"?

Also, to whoever put up the 40K chart a few threads back, thanks. The point system was fun and pleased my desire to min-max.

Decided to go Militarum; Hired:
Lord Commissar
Plasma Gunner (+10 points for militarum)
Rough Rider Elite
Engineer 8068 (for free from Lord Commissar)
Green Devil Elite
and purchased the Shield Drone and Comm Helm.

Think I did pretty well. Lots of nice girls. Some cool bonuses. Debating if I should actually go through all the gens and try to do a proper CYOA run for the entire TG (1-3+expansions+4-5)
