Fluff wise, he's supposed to the the most fluctuating in terms of power levels; sometimes he'll strike gold with a plague that wipes out sectors and swell to power that outstrips any of the gods, but inevitably cures are found or everyone just dies (from the disease or exterminatus normally) and he's dropped backed to the bottom before stabilizing again.

I'm sure someone will ask for a source on that, and I confess I don't have one at hand, but it was fluff from a fair while back; 2nd or 3rd ed Chaos Codex I think.

I remember seeing a supposedly leaked Terminator concept art months ago, when primaris were first announced. They looked much more rounder and gave me a bad impression, like "yes, they fucked up the design". Now that Aggressors pictures have been released, I'm not sure if it was actually a concept art for aggressors. But I'm pretty sure they looked different - they had the classic hunched back, but with more rounded curves overall. And I don't remember them having a backpack as aggressors do. I tried to ask for a repost the next day but apparently noone saved a copy. I didn't bother to because I thought we would see them again later, but alas.

I suspect the region-locked thing won't do much special, though, since I think they're trying to keep the planets separate to avoid snowballing. Also means that GW has better odds of Chaos getting at least one region so they have an excuse to keep things rolling, since everywhere else they are getting crushed pretty hard. I'm just sitting here painting Athonian Camoshade on Rusties, doesn't really feel like a great war effort honestly. If they had the strategic map from last edition things would be more interesting even if it might vary balance up a bit.

I'm painting orange over a black primer, I know that black is going to show through with the first coat but how many is normal before I get complete coverage? I'm concerned I'm thinning to much but also really afraid to mess with it cus I don't want thick paint.

They're quite plainly not interested in fixing broken characters, Gman wasn't changed at all in the codex and when they introduced him they scheduled a game of him smashing a bunch of random daemons that were quite plainly not able to scratch him into the dirt like it was the most interesting thing ever filmed.

Okay so I was at my LGS yesterday playing a friendly game and the owner decided to buy one of the Redemptor Dreadnoughts early. He broke it open and let us see it, and let me tell you this thing is going to be a beast.

The instructions were like something from Lego, and speaking of them the parts had little nobs and holes which made assembly look so easy. He even showed us the datasheet… it deteriorates like a vehicle, and has S7, T7, but also W13, and A5. The giant gatling cannon is basically a twin assault cannon, Heavy 12, S6, AP-1, D1, and the gatling cannon under his fist is just another assault cannon. He can also choose between dual storm bolters or dual (heavy?) flamers for the nose gun, and he has an icarus missile pod on the back which is a Heavy 1d6 Bolter which has the +1 against flyers, -1 otherwise rule iirc.

This all is pretty cool, but it's also 10 Power.

Oh and it's base is about as wide as a Land Raider, and I'd estimate the model at 6 in. or so tall. If it stays at $65 I think we've found a new Riptide.

Girlyman being strong is to be expected. Cawl is a different story and I'm still miffed he's Mars only and I'm autistic and others will autistic screech if I go 'yeah he's a use-as-Cawl but he's my own Forge World Magos' as they'll see it as WAACfagging. He has 9, just under the threshold alongside nothing else that i can think of, but to rub salt in the wound he rezzes with d6 more wounds on a 4+. Plus he outpunches 600+point models, and gives more buffs by himself than most armies have access to

No. You took a bunch of characters who provided various special rules (like rage, FnP, fleet, etc.) and attached them all a thunderfire cannon. Because of the way artillery rules worked, you used the toughness of the cannon, making the whole unit T7. You would conga line the characters across the field, ao that one could get in range to charge. When you were in range, you would detach from the cannon and charge what you wanted to. It was pure unadulterated bullshit
