I could get it if they wanted to package all the god related stuff into their own books, and release a "Codex: Disciples of Nurgle" with DG and nurgle demons, but a straight death guard book, if it has all the same options as listed in the index will just be like 90% copy pasted from the generic chaos codex.

Now maybe they're going to use this as an opportunity to show deviation/specialization of all the forces of chaos, like flamers/melta weapons are costed less in the DG book compared to the regular dex, or vehicles have access to unique and disgusting upgrades, but I have my doubts.

And this also begs the question of are god units like plagues and zerkers even going to be in the chaos dex as elite choices anymore, or are they going to be only available rules wise through their respective codex? I could easily see GW requiring you to pay for 2 or 3 books on top of the rule book just to play a valid army from the same faction.

Strike Squads are really efficient. With Falchions, combined melee and shooting they do about 2 wounds per model on average to guard equivalent and about 1 per model to anything else letting you deal with all targets with one unit/loadout. At 21 ppm they're costed like a veteran with power sword/storm bolter so their deepstrike and smite/hammer hand are essentially free. Baby carriers are about average, Paladins with falchions and an ancient are probably better than other marines vanilla terminators. You still get the good sm stuff like storm ravens and razorbacks.

Next oldest Codex would be Chaos Daemons... however! GW will old off on updating them because they are the only major thing remaining to sell Index Chaos at this point (Renegade Knights is a single datasheet, not enough), and also because they are clearly planning to update all the different Chaos God ranges first. A new Great Unclean One has been heavily rumoured to be in the works, which lines up nicely with the Death Guard release, much as the new Lord of Change came out with an Age of Sigmar rulebook shortly after Thousand Sons. Ergo, the next release after Death Guard will either be AoS Disciples of Nurgle, or Death Guard will include rules for some updated Nurgle Daemons different from those in the Chaos Index much as Khorne Daemonkin initially came with the new Bloodthirster rules. Daemons won't happen until after they update Slaanesh, which won't happen until after Emperor's Children and Fulgrim, which won't happen until at least one more Loyalist Primarch.

Also, following on the heels of a major release such as Death Guard, the next book will be one which they don't have to update anything at all, and the next oldest Codex after Daemons is....

So, Redemptor. Solid kit all around, I'd say, but it's not without issues.
- Main gun and secondary gun can be magnetized no problem, there are no shared parts between them. Stormbolters/frag launchers should be doable, but more fiddly. I only did the main gun, because I am lazy.
- The front armor and the beer gut could be left off. In fact, the upper armor is only clipped into place to begin with. Leaving off the beer gut would leave you with two awkward knobs that need shaving off though.
- Legs are fiddlly to pose because they are only slid into place, with no pegs to hold them. I had to pin them with brass rods for working out a semi-decent pose.
- All the armor can be slotted into place for fitting purposes and holds sorta well. In the pic all the armor save some hip guards are held in place that way, allowing for easy removal for basecoating.
- The mini-turrets for the stormbolters tend to rattle a lot and should probably be glued into place.
- One foot has flexible toes, the other is fixed, which is kinda shitty.
- Both arms feel like they have one joint too little. Something like a turning bit above the ellbow would have been nice.

The Resin used by FW is more finicky to work with than standard GW plastic and you have far more chance of miscasts, but the quality of detail is good and there's no issue mixing them. The only models I'd be cautious about are large thin ones like the Dark Eldar Tantalus.

I'm guessing if we get a Primaris version of Terminators here, if we get them at all, since DA are known for Deathwing. I would expect there to also be a Dark Angels conversion sprue that can add DA specific bits to any existing Primaris kits at this time.

Then we move on to book 8. So by process of elimination:

It won't be more Marines because they don't do them back to back.

It won't be more Chaos because their next release will be the next Primarch and they won't do Primarchs back to back, Lion just came out and there were 3 books between him and Mortarion, and 3 books between Mortarion and Guilliman.

It won't be probably won't be AdMech quite yet, but they're in the running.

So if for the sake of argument we say not AdMech, that leaves us with Xenos. The next oldest Xenos book after Tyranids, and one which may have release hints on the Rumour Mill is

Dark imperium looks good, plus it can account for one other friend. Still, is there a way to start with less units (and less money)? Of course it won't. At the very least you've ripped the coolant pump assembly and valve to shreds. And the starter-motor cable looks all twisted and snapped, so it might have shorted your shit. You may have also have bent or popped the crankshaft sensor with the impact shock, and that certainly won't let your car turn over.

I never said it would be cheap or cost effective, but it is easily repairable. Most of the damage appears superficial. I doubt you've twisted anything other than that bumper mounting brace.

Like 80% of a factions special rules are in the Codexes.

Space Marines currently have access to 23 Stratagems compared to everyone else's 3, have Relics, have Warlord Traits that are strictly better than the main rulebook ones, have Chapter Tactics, have a new army-wide special rule for Objective Secured on their Troops, and have a full table of Psychic Powers.

It's better by merely existing. It gives things that eventually every army will have but currently don't. Things like Warlord traits that actually help, relics and stratagems.

Nooblords journal about first game in 8e.

I played Blood angels patrol plus AM patrol 1200points (you probably gonna say Ha! he is retarded! but i am gonna say Ha! i know it! so jokes on you, right???) mostly to check out the rules and what is what and decided that blood angels are even more useless than before. Becouse of focus on heavy units (at least from what i felt) and huge debuff on infantry my 15 deathcompany with power swords, powers fists, power desktops, power chairs and some inferno pistols are not only paper but also not effective against heavy support. Therefore main focus of my army should not be main. Also i had jump pack assaulted some of death company with Lemartes, made a charge, rerolled and cried a little on failure.

Does that mean i should invest in predators and lascannons? are dreadnoughts also as useless (they seem to be with lack of drop pod assault) Is there any point in getting blood angels?

I also hate that how simple this game became. In 7th i could say i suck at it becouse it is soooo difficult but at least i try, but now i have no excuse.

I have no idea if primaris are worth it, for me they are ugly as hell thats all, can you tell me your experiance with them?

Personally I wouldn't be using those special weapons. Especially not the configuration you have for the scions. They are worth more as a drop and delete, though to be fair a regular squad can't do that as well as the variant that lets you pop 4 specials. I'd still run them as plasma boys though, maybe melta. Storm bolters on the sisters is... honestly It's probably wise, but I love flamer heavy flamer so I personally would do at least one squad like that to ride in the transport and jump out at people.

Loadout on the cannoness seems excessive to me.

An insurer will decide to repair a car if it's worth it economically.

If your car is worth 3k and the repairs will cost 2.5k, they won't repair it because your increased premiums won't provide a ROI due to the legal hassle of claiming the 2.5k from the guilty party. Even if the driver admitted fault, his insurance company will drag their feet for as long as possible before they pay out. That 2.5k is worth less and less to the company since they have to shuffle around their funds to cover other repairs and shit. If it's worth 3k and the repairs will cost 500, absolutely they will repair it. They might not even get the 500 from the at-fault party's insurer, but they absolutely WILL make more than 500 from your increased premiums. It's not gonna cost 500, but hey.

You need to learn to stack buffs. Bangles are a very powerful army when used right, due to the fact that they have so many different auras. Get lemartes. His reroll charge and hits aura means you have a good chance of getting off a turn one charge and a devestaing one at that. Drop the gaurd, at 1200 points it's not effective to split up your points between multiple armies.

Yes, blood angels are quite strong. Preadators are definitely worth it, since RAW you can use the killshot stratagem, which makes them absurdly good.

If you're who I think you are, I was talking with you here last night. I personally prefer Succubi because I like her aura more. Rerolling 1s for some of the army is better than a bonus to Ld for an already high Ld army who becomes immune by T4. However, Archons have more potential damage per point than Succubi against most things. I'm honestly not sure why the Archon gets one more attack than the gladiator leader, but whatever.

Also, since vehicles get the <Cult> tag, the succubus aura applies. There's a very special feeling when your Voidraven kills a jump dude because it rerolled a 1 to hit.

He's just under priced, depending on what you're target is roughly comparable in choppiness to a knight, he dies reasonably quickly if you're in a place to attack him though. It just seems like he's priced based on his combat ability but grants a shit ton of buffs. +100 ponts and he'd be fine, might make into a handful of tourney lists for people doing something specific, but wouldn't make it into all of them.

8th is the infantry edition, there's very little that can wipe away a squad of marines in 1 turn of shooting whereas before 1 template was enough
