You don't need to be an sjw to recognize that freedom of speech is a worthless social construct. Whoever dictates consensus morality gets to decide what is allowed to be spoken of without ridicule. Many of the beliefs I hold go against consensus morality and so I am not public about it. But through voting and changing minds through one on one conversations with people receptive to my worldview, I and others like me could try to change consensus morality in order for the viewpoints I support to become acceptable. Why do you think the morality I support would have any place in Tumblr? My views are very right-wing, but I'm not stupid enough to think I can say them in public without negative social repercussions, for now.
