If I'm paying for book about wizards, vampires, werewolves, etc., every bit of extraneous and irrelevant text reduces the value of the book for its purpose, to say nothing about how utterly offensive and insulting some of the political and social preaching directed at the reader can be. Even when I happen to agree with the ideas expressed, I know they don't belong in the book.

If I wanted a sermon about the developer's or authors' ideology, I'l read his or her Facebook page or blog.

Whether you agree with the authors' sentiments or believe the ideas are "important" is irrelevant. When a company has limited space to deal with the pertinent topics, i.e., horror role playing setting and rules, and instead of relevant material, we're constantly reading about matters like the author's insistence that players only eat organic, locally-produced snacks or demands that we must use certain nearly unpronounceable pronouns to cater to people suffering from severe Body dysmorphic disorders, it demonstrates nothing more than gross unprofessionalism.

OPP writers and those like them routinely claim certain minorities are just like everyone else with their status a "nothing to see here." They then unironically choose to make almost every remotely sympathetic NPC and fiction character a minority in numbers exceedingly out of proportion to their percentage of the population, and then also have these characters' raison d'etre be all about their minority trials and tribulations, with little else defining about the characters. It's really a shame. Some, although definitely not all, WW writers have a degree of talent, but end up squandering it in an attempt to be "socially relevant" instead of dealing with the setting and rules material people are actually paying for.

This is my mage. They were originaly a wolf blooded from the Denver area. According to the ST the Gauntlet is super thin there and werewolves are pretty thick in the area because of all the spirits to hunt. His father was human, but his mother with a bone shadow shaman and raised him and his older sister to one day join the pack as uratha. His sister became a Rahu and joined the Bone Shadow tribe following in her mother's foot steps. it was his sister's death though that catalized him into becoming a Mage as he became obsessed with death rituals and litteral and symbolic endings.

His mother was his first mentor and it wasn't until later that the diamond order in the area realized that a mage had slipped though their detection and was being taught by "dogs".

I think that's all the big parts. He now is the go between for his pack, and the Adamant Arrow.
