Not OP, but I have a chess question
>Be about 1700 USCF player
>Most of my games that I lose fall into the same pattern
>Get decent opening, good middle game, everything's going well.
>Make completely idiotic blunder out of left field in a lapse of concentration that costs me the game.
I'm not being biased here (or at least I think I'm not), I computer evaluate all of my tournament games; in 5 of my last 7 losses, Stockfish gave me at least a +2 before my critical blunder. How do I stop making retarded moves in good positions?

chess.com offers tactic exercises, 5 per day for free, if you pay you get more. i practice those exercises most days and it definitly improves my skills. i would look for a book for a deeper learning though.
