Primaris Marines are shitty because they have awful fluff and are a faction in of themselves that steps on the toes of marines. They have rules that imo regular marines should have got in 8th edition.

I don't have any problem with GW releasing true scale marines, my old ones are still valid just like my old Avatar model is still valid over the new larger one. Likewise it's going to be very unlikely that they'll retcon a Primaris equivalent into 30K and even if they do nobody is going to play that shit as 30K players are just a better breed of gamer.
