Read books.
That might not seem like a very helpful answer, but it helped me. Learning other people's vocabulary (through reading) helped me learn to express ideas better.

This, at the very least it will teach you one or five fancy new words to use in your roleplay, and at best (in fact, I'd say it's the average) you'll learn some writing styles that work really well towards conveying your character's thoughts and actions in a pleasing way.
Look at it this way; if it's good enough for George RR Martin, it's certainly good enough for you and your group.

Socialization is a skill, you have to use it to get better at it.
Talk to people more, even if the experience is awful you'll eventually get better. Just have a bit of self awareness and don't be a giant sperg.
